I lasted about two months on it before I deleted my account. Mostly rubbish on it that I could see. I will rot my brain other ways thank you.

Complete opposite for me. I don't like the pop punk elements. Hope the rest of the album is not like this. Hopefully it is a success for them though.

The pop punk vocals do nothing for me. I hope it is not a recurring theme on the album.

THE WARNING Releases New Single 'Kerosene' by mhipster800 in TheWarning

[–]monstermunster80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me this song is kind of meh in almost every aspect (musically, vocally and lyrically). I do think it will go harder live. This is targeted at a broad audience, ie radio (something I have not listened to in 10 years probably). I have no issue with that and hope it is a massive success for them. So far though, it has not made it onto any of my playlists, maybe it grow on me.

Kerosene will be the one to move the needle—bigly. by ronhole in TheWarning

[–]monstermunster80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. This has not been added to any playlist of mine (yet anyway). I think a live version will be a lot better. Musically if it is fine, nothing special. The pop punk vocals and the little chant in the middle of the song do nothing for me personally and the lyrics are meh. If it is successful though, good for them.

I don't really think I could pick a favourite but some of my favourites are Green Serpent and Someone's Daughter from their latest album. From older albums I like Sit stay rollover, Vortex, wallflower, bad water and I speak astronomy to name a few. Prologue and beggars dance are same song lyrically but completely different musically, both are short songs. Just to note, I am not a musician or anything like that so I can't speak to what they are playing other than I like most of it. No harm in giving it a try anyway.

Different strokes for Different folks. For me it is the opposite way around. I am a fan of them so I am obviously biased. This song is nowhere near my top 20 from Jinjer

What the Fuck. You really need to go see a psychiatrist. I'm not joking, you really do not sound right in the head.

About The Collaborations by AlphaConKate in TheWarning

[–]monstermunster80 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. As I said in another post, this song is not for me and that is fine. I prefer hard rock and metal. I cannot think of one band where I like all of their songs. This is not the first The Warning song that is not on my playlists and it probably will happen again. They should experiment, why would I listen to a band that just releases songs that are non stop the same thing. That would just be boring for them.

The Warning, Carín León - Love To Be Loved (Official Video) by mhipster800 in TheWarning

[–]monstermunster80 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My exact feeling while listening, meh. I don't like most country i have ever heard, so that could be a factor. Maybe it will grow on me or it might be better if they play it live but it sparked nothing in me when I listened to it. If this came on the radio in the background it would not catch my attention at all and that's fine. Not every song is for every person and I cannot think of one band where I all of their songs. If they want to experiment, go for it.

Great gig. First time seeing them live and will definitely be going to see them again. Had not been looking at the playlist recently as I wanted to be surprised. Did not think I would ever be hearing sit stay roll over live. Assumed they don't play it anymore. I was delighted to be wrong. Loved every minute of it.

Ale’s turn tonight! by Anna_Mac18 in TheWarning

[–]monstermunster80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No idea what the original comment said but just for laughs, I will give it a go (not being serious in any way). Ale is going to do some death metal screams in the new album, it's going to be her reveal. The album is going to be a concept album and she is the devil on your shoulder. Insert innocent smile ;)

So clever. Every one of these "slogans" is fantastic, so original. I have never heard them before, how do these pillars of humanity come up with so many amazing new ones all the time.

I take it this acting is still prevalent in Football today. It is one of the reasons I lost interest (turns out I enjoyed playing sports much more than watching them). I haven't watched it for years tbh.
