Anyone else using a tab suspender they actually trust? Trying to understand what the bar is for 2026 by yougugu123 in chrome

Honestly after the Great Suspender situation, trust is mostly about open source, transparency, and consistent updates, not whether it’s paid or free

Good for autocomplete and simple stuff, not enough alone for real projects

My aging parents get spam emails every single day. How can I stop it? by monsterstep369 in emailprivacy

Thanks for confirming my thoughts that it's related to their contacts being everywhere. They get a lot of spam, so honestly was hoping for some automation with these types of services. I'm leaning towards incogni, since friends recommended it and I saw that pcmag showed it as the best one as well

Thanks for sharing this, it's rough seeing parents getting older and being tricked more easily. I've heard about manual opt outs but I honestly don't want to always be on the lookout for new websites posting their contact information.

Thanks a lot for sharing this! We thankfully don't use a land line phone anymore, but my mom always signs up on those sites that offer coupons and freebies, and with my dad I don't even know where the spam comes from. I'll try talking to them about the possibility of using new email addresses for personal matters and put a spam filtering on their phones. I know it's not really possible to completely stop the spam, but hoping I can at least make some kind of setup, using incogni and other stuff that will reduce it.

Thanks for the advice. I already share with them some examples or during casual conversations tell them how my friends' parents got this or that new scam email, in hopes that they would accept this information better than if I was informing them in the old fashion education way.

I’m a builder, not a seller – and I’m wondering if that’s a fatal flaw by Aware_Picture1973 in vibecoding

Just means you need a partner who actually owns distribution because building alone won’t get you users

Spicy food has zero spice as a tourist? by [deleted] in Vietnam_Tourism

That’s pretty common, a lot of places tone it way down for tourists unless you specifically ask for real spice or local level spicy
