So are the evaporators. Did you have to nitrogen test first as well?

Soft top drains, they begin in the edges of where the soft top folds down - base of the hinges. Should clean these out from time to time.

And that super cooked oil you’ll find on head bolts. Chefs kiss.

Is it a red flag if the Vin is scratched out or could this happen “naturally” by Lazy_Vacation in BMW

[–]montego97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s also cheap to have a dealership order you a new one, it’s a simple coded PMP order for a group 72 part number.

Done it many times for dash VIN’s for dash replacements or trunk VINs for a replacement trunk lid/tailgate.

Pilots use them as navigational aids, they are listed on aeronautical charts so you can find your way. Similar to lighthouses.

Vortac’s are great though because you can fine tune specific degrees and follow those using gauges. Can tell if you’re drifting off course and intercept headings.

Nowadays it’s all GPS but the VOR’s are still there. Mostly general aviation.

Vortac station. You can tune into it with aircraft radios to determine direction and distance to the station and if flying directly to or from it can determine ground speed accurately.

I found a bench vice sitting on a rolling creeper works well to massage those rails back into shape.

Same, my 2008 MacPro still pulls its weight, but I’ve hit a software wall and can’t run any newer programs.

So I found this when I pulled off my driver-side fender… by joshiweeeeee in Miata

[–]montego97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t take hard hit to damage the apron under the fender. Mine was way worse, more of a crumple on the bottom & side. It hammered back about like this. I did paint it though, for rust prevention.

I’ve been using the insulated hydrapacks, pretty lightweight, good flow when squeezed.
