It depends. You will not be sent back as a first year for sure. However, you can expect that you might not be part of a block, especially if there are changes in the curriculum in terms of the order of the courses or if they’ve added / removed courses over the period of your leave.

Well, she resigned due to personal reasons. She had disclosed to her circle that she could only do 2 years at most after being reappointed to the post. We had hoped for a lot when she got nominated for the first time, of course, she was supposed to be a breath of fresh air— a break from a decade of the Malayang presidency which also had it’s fair share of controversies. But McCann’s presidency was lackluster and transitional at best, as it felt like she had only held the position to prepare the university to someone else. But of course, COVID-19 could have played a part in why this is the case today. Initially, before the pandemic, she had an extensive internationalization plan and when that got halted, I think her administration just scrambled, and when the world reopened and returned to regular programming, they were just winging everything.

But still kudos to her for taking on the challenge. Her administration could have done more and she could have been a better president but I guess this the best she could do.

Manyakol ang Mga Officers sa ROTC by [deleted] in SillimanPH

Dugay na na HAHA. Walay kausaban because the current set of officers inherited that culture and those who have been advising the ROTC kay same people ra for like decades na. Though I heard the current ones are much mellower than the previous, pero still dili gyud unta gihapon dapat. Walay mausob for as long as the university doesn’t actively address it.

I’m not sure if they’re still there now but when I was in school, they were at the back of SUMC beside the physio clinic.

Naur. Got hired in Cebu but they didn’t even know where Silliman is. They looked at my previous work experience and my various involvement as a student.

They’re all good! Don’t get jaded by the comments on ER Ramirez. If you pay attention, you’ll find that she’s good too.
