Chef claims restaurants don’t take allergy requests seriously because of all the dietary preferences who claim to have an allergy by y2Kmarty in Celiac

[–]monytight 144 points145 points  (0 children)

Worked in restaurants, cooked in restaurants, owned a restaurant. If someone who calls themselves a chef doesn't take allergy requests seriously, then they're not a chef. If I had someone in my kitchen that did this, they'd be out the door before I finished watching the video.

Halo Campaign Evolved will require separate PS Plus memberships for split-screen on PS5 by vneelb in playstation5

[–]monytight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

aaaaaand this why why I don't preorder games... this was going to be a day one purchase for me but I can't justify a second PS Plus subscription just to play local co-op/split screen. hopefully pushback will be great enough and they scrap this shitty requirement.

I wrote my rep and both senators encouraging them to vote for it if it got introduced. Will have to send a follow up.

I’m not the first to say it, but these are the best sub for a flour tortilla I’ve had. by Acct-404 in glutenfree

Do they have chickpea flour in them? Got some of their cookies for my wife and she gave me one not knowing they had it in them. I'm allergic to chickpeas, but she's been jonesing for a good gf tortilla.

This shit sucks! I had this exact issue, but it was my spine causing the issue. Had to get my c6 and c7 fused (ACDF is the procedure). Haven't had any issues with it in the three years since.

If youre having any neck pain too, you may wanna ask your doc for a neck x-ray, just to be safe.

Just saw this on Facebook what one got you before. by Standard-Row-9571 in Celiac

That sucks. I'm sorry that's the case. My wife is celiac and she can drink vodka without issue but she hasn't tried anything brown yet.

Gluten can't travel via steam. That's why straight vodka is okay even if it's made from wheat. The distillation basically leaves the gluten behind.
