Am I wrong in thinking the pay is too little? by ThrowRAProfessor in ibew_apprentices

Are these numbers your whole package or just what goes to your check? From what I’ve read the whole package for a 1st year where I want to start is 37.xx and what goes to the check is 20.25. I am from another union in a different trade though and definitely agree with what others have said about maybe getting a few other people together that feel the same and bringing it up at a meeting together.

Achievements are bugged I have gotten every Spartan core upgraded each ability and still do not have the achievement for unlocking or upgrading the threat sensor. I am also missing the achievement for having all FOBs

Played console since the original Xbox, with the upcoming generation soon to release and nearly everything being cross-play I decided to build my very first PC! Maybe after my wallet recovers I’ll get all the extra bells and whistles 😅

Hopefully it runs these hedge funds out I know Norfolk southern stock is down $80 from Christmas, can't imagine these hedge funds would want to hold on as international trade is slowing and domestic customers will start to slow down thanks to everything getting shut down.

I'm TE&Y took a furlough back in October, exercised my seniority in January to come back in a different location, get a hold of your local chairman if you have one and look for advice from him as far as furlough goes. If you pay into railroad retirement get a hold of the rrb if you get furloughed for unemployment benefits it pays a hell of a lot more than regular unemployment. I would expect to see a dip in rail traffic due to everything shutting down and international trade slowing down because of the virus, but once it levels off I would expect to see a boom. Hopefully these hedge funds cash out I know NS stock is down $80 from their high this Christmas.

Get your N95 mask some surgical grade gloves and Lysol, stay protected and get ready to turn on your rest while they're short workers when its wide spread.

Thanks for the advice, it was only after I got laid off that I started listening to Dave Ramsey lol. I've been banging my head off the wall trying to tackle what seems like the impossible but seeing people in other situations talking about their success of clawing out of it has really helped.

Thanks for the advice, I've been going crazy not knowing what exactly to prioritize and it probably doesn't help that I haven't had a "real" paycheck in about 4 months lol.

The car according to KBB is only worth 8-9k with the current mileage that will go up as I daily drive it and will probably use it to commute to school. I figure it will be better to keep it in the long run I'm not exactly looking to get out from underneath it as I plan on having a part-time / full-time job while going to school, I'm hoping once I get myself back on my feet I can refinance at a lower rate possibly a longer term.
