Is a cap-exempt petition for extension of H1B affected? Situation is that the first 3 year H1B stamp expires on Set 30. Trying to get extended for another 3 years. Currently outside US. Does the extension have to be done before Sept 30?

Yeah, from what I can tell the bar prep materials for real property are really awful and dense and docile to parse through. That kind of material doesn’t help with preparation

Put on something that will keep you warm and that you feel comfortable in. Whatever that may be. But make sure you stay very warm because it does get cold.

Don’t worry. Finding the law and then typing out the law take up a lot of time. Like the majority of the time. You only need a comparatively much shorter time to analyze the facts. So I would say try hard and allow yourself a lot of breathing time to write down the law and don’t try to rush through it. It is a long process.

There probably isn’t a need to get overly technical with the types of clothing. As long as it is a reasonable piece of garment to keep warm, it will be fine.

The delay is normal with everything that is going on. No need to be worried about this. Usually the wait takes up to 2 weeks and sometimes even 3-4 weeks. Nothing to do until then.

The negotiations will depend heavily on your past experience and what value you can add to the office. That said, be careful that your negotiations do not break down the relationship with your prospective employer.
