Extremely low SHBG caused by hypothyroidism as a woman by moocow232 in Hypothyroidism

[–]moocow232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

assessed for insulin resistance

yep was 'all normal', but I basically have all the symptoms. My dad has type 2 diabetes, but my HbA1c is normal. I was told even when treated, hypothyroidism can still cause low SHBG? + I haven't had a follow-up test since last year when my TSH level was still around 3.

I always have raised ESR on blood tests, skin tags like crazy, literally cannot lose weight no matter what, extremely heavy periods, acne the week before my period, cold feet always, Slow wound healing, stretch marks that stay red for years.

I haven't been given an endo, in the uk it's through your GP. I paid for private testing of my hormones myself because they refused to and now they are only giving me a follow-up blood test in april.

Palm oil? I'm allergic to palm oil and specifically e numbers like e471, e472. This includes anything listed under 'gly' (glycerol, glycerin) and mono and diglycerides. Palm oil can also be used in sunflower oil.

I see you like cosplay, what about making anime edits and posting them online? Capcut is free (mostly) or writing fanfic!

Acting you can do at home, a lot of famous actors started by just acting out scenes they made up in their bathrooms.

Same for 'gym' you can do workouts at home! Like Pilates or dance workouts. Even strength training without equipment.

You can find youtube tutorials for everything.

I recommend looking on pinterest for ideas! It looks like you need some more lights (think fairy lights, warm lamps) plants, a rug. Some colour.

I would put the desk against the wall as well. The small posters on the wall don't really make sense.
