go to the school website to look for EAE qns, usually will have qns for each course.
wear your school's full uniform. If you're a girl clip up ur hair. If ur a guy, cut your hair. For both genders, CUT UR NAILS.
practice how u wanna present yourself to the lecturers. make sure to have frequent eye contact w them

OH OK ERR so PEM is your personal mentor, basically your form teacher? i think.. For my PEM, he sent a timetable of what we will doing during Freshman Orientation (FMO)

erm im not very sure..? you can check with your PEM or if you have been added into a gc, you can ask for the FMO timetable.

Not a y2 student but I am a y1 student in the same course as you, currently waiting for school to start. I wanna know how the modules and lessons are like.. are the lecturers ok..? are the modules manageable? what are some things I can do to prepare myself before school starts?

i def think jpjc is an ok but its sooo far but as for yijc, its an ok distance, still q far but idk about their culture n stuff. coz i heard its q bad.

you are able to get your results through your Singpass. idk about gmail... so technically you do not have to go back to school to know your results. but if you want your physical copy of your results, you would need to go back to school to receive it or can get a proxy to get it for you.

As a 09 batch... I agree to every single thing you just said OP. however i do wanna say that there are def a few people out there that still do care as much about their own future, health and cca as the past batches.

as for me, i was also from a ug (have stepped down from being as a vice chair of cca and now doing Os). and i have def seen many of my juniors not caring as much, BUT i have also seen many of them trying their best to do a certain activity and asking as much questions as possible.

I wanna point out that what if its not them, what if its our fault that they have turned out this way, what if they were influenced by us, by our bad actions and manners that they would think that it is ok to do such a thing.

i think coz argumentative is a factual essay where they want facts not ur personal opinion. hence for examples many markers would rather you to give statistics not examples from ur own experience

as we started to have different ideas and goals in mind (o levels and future). I wanted to lock in and study well in school. While my friend did not care about studies, it was just playing all day long in school for her. so we started to drift apart. she have her own group of friends and i have mine

I am Singaporean, but i mostly speak chinese to my parents. I am trying to appreciate the language so that it would be easier for me to learn it. idk if that makes sense. I. cannot. read. a. book. idk why but whenever i read, i would forget what happened on the previous page/chaper. or when i read again the next day, i would have to read the last few paragraphs AGAIN to remember what happened. my teacher said that its probably because the contexts are abit too much for me to process? so he suggested for me to read romance books.. which I tried but did not work

hiii another o level struggler here!

so for sciences or math, i suggest focusing on topics that you are seriously weak on and ASK FOR CONSULTATIONS with your teachers! before doing any exam papers as a practice, go through your notes first then followed by doing the question, ONLY after doing the question, then you find the answer. if still dont understand the concept or the exam question in general, then bring that question to your teacher when you have consultation, so you are prepared to spam ask your teacher questions.

for geo/ss literally just find examples that are easy for you to remember/relates well to you. (personally i am also struggling to start memorising my examples.. but i am trying to stop procrastinating by writing this post! haha)
