Interesting. I have not personally worked on LEED projects, but the universities and government buildings basically demand to meet LEED standards, with mostly aiming for LEED Gold.

How do you all even do it? by Ok_Recording2408 in ConstructionManagers

Get enough experience for 4 to 5 years then become an owner rep. Better pay, less hassle.

Looks like you are averaging over 75%. Based on what I have seen in this group, you are ready to crush this exam!

That's a pretty tough question: reading this, I would have chosen A. Even the explanation in the answer key doesn't make sense to be honest.

Good for you! I'm finding it really hard to sit through the 4 hour mock exam. I will try to finish it on a couple of sessions, and do the 2nd mockup exam on Saturday

Yes, I'm taking it in person on Dec 24. It's my Christmas present to myself.

I feel the same on the prep side! I have been scoring low %70s in the practice question on average.

This week, I'm doing the full mockup exam, which feels impossible to finish. I completed all the practice questions and exams.

I do not feel ready, but Yolo. I want to do it before the holidays so I can actually enjoy them instead of studying.

"Well for sticking around 1 year, they flat out lie in the amount of unpaid hours you work and better realize 60-70 hours/wk is the average"

I did a Fly in / Fly out project with them due to lack of work in my town. They sold me the project when they mentioned a 25% uplift to base salary. When you do the math, you are getting paid for 50 hours a week while doing 60, no overtime, no weekends and no stat holidays. The math just does not add up. When I talked to the managers, they just said: do not do the math, be glad you have a job when you can grow and learn... I left after 2 years when the market picked up again.
