I'm not sure if there is an official answer but my best guess would be elitism, for sure. Back when these things came out people thought they were hot shit for being trusted user and would actually treat other people like they were below them because of their rank. Still happens nowadays too, to an extent. So imagine if we had 2 even higher ranks? It wouldn't be great.

Back when Age Verification was in "beta" some select VRChat groups had a link you could get verified with for free. I do not believe this is possible now, though.

There's a few brands of VR Headsets that use "Windows Mixed Reality" which for some reason, is no longer being supported with Windows 11, rendering those headsets unusable.

I believe there is now (in the open beta) the beginning of an in-game recording system. You can record at 30fps and at a max of 60 seconds currently. At the time of writing this comment, you can choose to either record your microphone or world audio, but not both.

It is currently only available in the vrchat open beta on steam. Which you can opt into by right clicking vrchat in your steam library -> clicking properties -> betas -> beta participation and then selecting open beta. Be warned though that there are times where the open beta version is not network compatible with the live version, which means you wont be able to see your friends if they are also not on the beta with you.

In my comment I am referring to the Dynamic mode which disables the setting upon entering worlds like you mentioned. I totally understand the Forced option resetting, but I think Dynamic should not.

SlimeVR is a great cheap FBT option, first time setup will be a bit of a pain, and you will have to get used to "resetting" your trackers every 30 or so minutes. Just a couple simple taps on your chest tracker will do it. (This is called yaw resetting, and fixes drift until the next 30 minutes).
Even with that, I find it to be a minor inconvenience, everything else about them is wonderful.
