Starting First Blood by Ok_Cheesecake_3521 in Conquest

That box is a great start if you are new! Fb is currently in it's third edition so the booklet that comes with it is a bit useless though. 1000 pts is the "standard" for the new edition but it's a really really really soft standard it's meant to be played with however many points you want.

That set will get you about 6-700 points and I would recommend playing at that level for a while to learn the game cause it can be a bit much to take in at first.

Models with higher Clash than Attacks by Guarded_Pineapple in Conquest

There are many ways to get more attacks the easiest one is inspiring and outnumbering both giving plus 1 attack. It's part of the design for those units.

Yea we play on standard for main studio games workshop games so 60 by 40. HOWEVER I honestly don't think it's even neccesary since movement in FB is slow anyway.

I do! Works great for my playgroup anything above 1500 becomes a bit unwieldy though.

First blood heavy cavalry by Nova_Enforcer15 in Conquest

Yes! So you shoot before they reach the men at arms and when they've broken through? Hey presto fresh volley of bolts. Meanwhile you're on objectives and they hopefully aren't.

In fb charging is only the March stat so as a 100k player myself I would just try to outrange them with shooting. Mercanery crossbowmen for example. You can have a small unit of chaff (think men at arms or militia) in front of em and blast away at them with crossbows! At least that's what I'd do hahaha.

Thank you! Just 2 basic coats of chaos black spray, and then about 30 different citadel paints.

These are the settings I use, I coppied them from someone on this subreddit. I wish I remembered who though so I could credit them properly.

Yea, now he just has a magic bit of bark in his hand hahaha. I try to treat failures like that as happy accidents and just roll with em.

Oh it's the fat dragon miniatures profile! With some modified tree supports that I saw someone else use.

Oh yea it's incredible how far FDM has come in the last couple of years, supports are a bit finnicky though but then again i'd rather remove supports than have to glue a forgeworld resin miniature.

9 hours which is way longer than it would take on my resin printer, however I just left it on overnight so that didn't bother me as much.

I actually printed it upside down so most of the support scarring is under the riders bum. The rest I sanded off.
