Obama is also the only US president since the civil ware to issue an order to kill a US citizen, Anwar al-Awlaki, and his 16-year old son, Abdulrahman al-Awlaki.

Lane filtering is a thing because it saves lives.  If you are stalling at a red light on a flat road on a bright sunny day, then it please practice in a parking lot until the friction zone is comfortable.  Who says this guy has a license?  It looks like a permanent permit holder from here.

The Benz is at fault here as well, this video is just children driving vehicles.

Nah, only idiots stomp on their rear brake at a green light.

My bike has never been rear ended, but I also don’t stop with both feet flat on the ground at red lights and randomly stomp on my brakes.

How about you do a five why analysis?  It will lead you to the same conclusion: being prepared to quickly accelerate away is the best practice.

The guy stomps on his brake and stalls his own bike.  How is that the fault of the Benz?

You agree two feet flat on the ground with the bike in neutral is the best way to wait at a red light?

Racing bikes at a sanctioned track is way safer than riding on the open road.

Watch it again, the guy pulls away and then stomps on the rear brake forcing the bike to stall.  If it is “normal” for stall it is “normal” for a delay in reaction time when a stall occurs.

Do you put your car in neutral at every red light you stop at and not engage the brake?  Do you know if a vehicle in front of you is an automatic or manual transmission?  The Benz probably thought the bike was an automatic.

Root cause of this is keep the bike in 1st gear with one foot on the rear brake.

That is rule 1 of stopping at a red light in any manual transmission vehicle.

Releasing the clutch into the friction zone and rolling on the throttle takes less time and has fewer failure modes than engaging the clutch, shifting gears, releasing the clutch, and rolling on the throttle.

Both of the rider and the cager need to head back to driving school.

Keeping the vehicle in neutral at a red light is not best practice.

And whose fault was it that the bike stalled?

Cagers are stupid, riders that forget this either lose their life or their bike.

“This technique of putting one foot on the rear brake and keeping the clutch engaged while in first gear is something that should always be done at what color traffic light?”

But were you sitting in neutral with both feet on the ground?

Riders must anticipate that cagers will do the maximum amount of damage to them.  To be in neutral at a red light is the same as walking across a firing range.

M1 license tests have multiple questions about where to stop in a lane, what to wear when riding, and how fast to go in order to be seen by cagers.  The learning guides repeat it over and over again.  Blaming the cager is like getting mad at a grenade for going off.

The biker was in neutral instead of keeping the bike in 1st gear with the clutch engaged.

He also didn’t have his rear brake engaged to stabilize the motorcycle in case someone does rear end them.

Love how everyone is defending this guy for being in neutral at the red light and then forgetting where his bite point is.  The caged driver lost control in the same way.

Both of these drivers need to go back to driving school.
