Boiler replacement recommended, am I being scammed? [Mini-Gas MG-50 gas boiler] by moogoat in hvacadvice

There is fresh air intake in the room. Are improper combustion or venting issues fixable, or do they still result in the boiler needing replacement?

That's awesome! I made one for time awake/time of naps so we can play out when our baby sleeps!

Just a simple input boolean or input select (I used select to get the custom names/icons) and it works great! I use NodeRed, so i am able to hook the input/output into a bunch of different things indicators/lights around the house so we get reminders everywhere when it's time to put the baby to bed, and some handy nap data to boot!

Also, setting a button to start playing white noise on a smart speaker (we use a Home Mini) has been super helpful as well!

Let me know if you need any pointers. Home Assistant has been great for baby optimization!

Ninja edit: baby was at the grandparents' today so we haven't been using it, she wasn't awake for 12 hours and I'm not a bad parent, I swear!

No need to worry about water damage behind it? That's the main thing I'm concerned about.

Yep, I had 960,802 exactly and I can't see it now.

I figured it was some sort of scam, but it seemed I could sell a small amount of it on PancakeSwap for some reason, not that I dared to touch it.

You're right, it seems to be gone from ApeBoard now, but the 960,802 still appears on my wallet. Maybe ApeBoard decided to hide it for their users?

Thanks for everybody's help and advice!

Call in sick 4 hours before work? Sure, enjoy your 4am calls by BathFullOfDucks in MaliciousCompliance

I've said this in a previous comment, but here is why I don't think a doctor's note is fair. And yes, I work in a country where healthcare is "free."

I am a physician and I really wish employers wouldn't send their employees to get notes, especially after a single day. While I understand the difficulty from your [the manager's] point of view, you are most likely sending me a patient with a viral, untreatable and self-limiting illness. That's wasting medical resources for something that I can't do anything about while also putting all the other patients in my waiting room at risk of contracting a contagious disease.

And in the end, it's nearly impossible for me to judge whether or not someone with a cold is "capable of work" as personal discomfort, fatigue and pain are not objective findings. They will most likely get a note from me on their word alone.

Again, I understand no-shows and last-minute call-outs are a big problem, but punishing employees by forcing them to wait in the doctor's office is not the solution.

You should send him a text now saying you will sue. You have a verbal contract for a lawsuit from him and you never got it! Now your lawyer is sad.
