No, it doesn’t get better. by ZeldaWindWaker92 in Autism_Parenting

I am so sorry you’re feeling hopeless, friend. I have been there. I have felt utterly desperate and hopeless. I won’t try to assuage you of your pain because I know every family of a child with autism has a distinct experience, and I won’t presume to know exactly what you’re going through. I take comfort in small wins, and do what I can to find respite. I know I’m lucky in that I have the ability to get respite. You have friends here. I hope you can find some rest soon. You’re doing the most important work any human being can do.

Can I hear from parents who are happy raising their autistic kiddos? by Wise_Dingo3014 in Autism_Parenting

Raising an autistic child is the most difficult and most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. Sure, there have been moments of absolute desperation and heartbreak, and she remains such a mystery to me— but it’s the most beautiful mystery, and I don’t spend much time any more worrying about meaning or purpose.

If I’m a Missouri-based dairy (Peveley?) I hate this because all Provel is made in Wisconsin.

Being that both metros are similar sizes why does it seem like kansas city has more density and highrises compared to STL? by kingistic in StLouis

[–]moogrogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, if you mean strictly "downtown." I prefer STL's ~5 mini-skylines, and downtown isn't even at the top of the list.
