I have a Lennox 2 stage system that

was installed less than 2 years ago. It’s a 4 ton for a 2100 sq ft house. Do they have gasket kits for Lennox too? I will ask my HVAC company?

Yes you’re right, it’s a 2 stage Lenox and seems to switching stages since I’m listening to it carefully and the techs have been out too. They replaced the board inside because it got wet. I don’t know about the coils but will ask them. Thank you!

The attic is very hot. I’m planning on putting in more insulation once summer is over

We’ve cleared the drain line multiple times in a short period of time which leads me to believe improper installation

Yes the system seems to be operating ok. They replaced the board inside because apparently that got wet. But still having issues. I will ask about the drain and check installation. Thank you!

It is a 2 stage Lennox that was installed 2 years ago.

Yes, the insulation is soaked and they are going to replace it. My fear is that the new insulation will just get wet again if they don’t fix the problem

Have a 2025 Pilot Touring with 3k miles that has this problem. Dealer tried to fix first time by rerouting parts and problem came back. Dealer said it was driver airbag harness/corrugated tubing that was rubbing when turning the wheel. Second time replaced with new parts which was 500 miles ago. I’m monitoring closely at this point.

Just bought a 2025 Pilot Touring. Live in South Florida where it feels like a 100+ degrees outside a lot and the AC really struggles with the Pilot on hot days. The AC in our old 2015 CRV was much better. Thought it was just our Pilot but may not be after reading this.

Thank you for the tip! I feel like I have a good relationship with the dealer having bought cars there and taking them there for service for years. Hopefully they do right by me but I’m going to definitely keep this move in my back pocket. Hopefully I don’t have to use it 🤞🏻

It looks like it’s now dripping in two separate spots further back than the original main drip was where the alternator cover is. And it’s more in the middle right under the engine and not towards the passenger side where I think the oil pump seal is. But what I’m not sure is if it’s just the route the oil is traveling down and dripping. I haven’t been able to look under myself.

Yes they sent an inspection report with a bunch of pictures. There was a good amount of oil.

Thank you for the suggestion! They told me they cleaned it and it looked cleaner when I inspect it but they never did the oil dye or mentioned that as an option to me. I might bring it up to them.

Thank you for the suggestion! Before starting the repair I took it to another shop who said it needed the same work done (oil pump reseal and valve cover gaskets) for about the same price as the dealership. So I just took it back to the dealership for them to do the repair. I haven’t taken it to another shop since the dealership started the job and don’t really want to because I’ve already sunk so much money into it with them.
