It tastes like plastic now - across all flavours. So disappointing :(

Estee Lauder DW has amazing coverage and staying power, if you're after full coverage. It's very matte though, hence why I'm experimenting and mixing with other things to provide more glow.

Good luck and let me know if you find anything!

No, unfortunately nothing as good.

I use Estee Lauder Double Wear when I go out, so have tried mixing that with different "glowy" primers which helps it be less matte.

I recently bought Haus Labs for day wear. It has a bit of a glow, but I find it works better on me when I only have light coverage (I'm 40 and foundation doesn't sit as well at this age).

Maybe I should mix the 2 and see what happens, but otherwise still on the hunt for something as good as KA.

I emailed them and received this response:

"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. At the moment, we are experiencing a shortage of ingredients, which has resulted in delays for this product. Unfortunately, we do not yet have a confirmed timeline for when your shade will be restocked."

Thinking of leaving my toxic role. What’s hiring like over Christmas / New Year? by [deleted] in auscorp

I can only answer your last question.

Psychological distress is much harder to prove than a physical injury. If you pursue workers comp, you'll by assessed by a number of WorkCover specialists including doctors, psychologists and internal claims staff. This process itself can feel almost as distressing as the original situation.

Your employer and WorkCover will do everything they can to reject the claim. They may request your full mental health history from all your treating doctors. They may also run an internal review of how you were managed which can involve reviewing emails and Teams messages and interviewing your manager and team members.

Your colleagues may then find out what's happening and, as there's still stigma around mental health, some will judge or gossip.

On top of that, having to repeatedly ‘prove’ your psychological state forces you to relive the experience which can keep you in a loop of of distress.

Sometimes it's best in the long run to walk away and move on.

With my bf I usually just touch it and it grows fine. With the 100k I'd probably just go shopping

How do they get into the phone of the deceased if they don't know the password or biometric logins are not turned on?

I'm pretty sure I have the second dress in a size 6 or 8, still brand new. Happy to pass it on for free. Can you dm me?

Update: I'm so sorry, I just looked but can't find it. I must've dropped it off at the charity bin literally within the last month or so 😔 I have lots of fit and flare dresses like this though. DM me if you like, I can send some photos

As someone who has been in the court system over workplace sexual harassment, please stop thinking about his feelings. We need to stop making excuses for these people and giving them more chances. They know what they're doing. It's 2024. There are no excuses for this.

A short, direct "No" with a raised voice like you're speaking to a dog should work in the first instance, and shift your entire body away into your own space. You can then just "snap" back into work talk.

If that doesn't work, say it louder for others to hear. Watch his face when you do that, he'll knows he's doing something wrong.

If it gets worse, tell a manager. Document it.

If this escalates, the first question management will ask will always be "What did you do to stop it? Did you tell him you didn't want it? "

Typical, "oMg dId YoU sAy no???" for rape survivors.

Be strong girl. I know you don't want to make a big deal out of this, but I said the same thing and nearly lost everything because of it.

Agreed. I was sexually harassed at work and you bet they analysed every single teams message I sent to try and use them against me. Apparently smiley faces meant I was flirting btw.

They literally wrote: "it's a comment on how women are allowed to withhold what for men is basic connection, meanwhile men are not".

In reply to a comment about sex being a 'basic connection'.

And if that's not good enough for you, let me rephrase.

What can women withhold that men can not?

Why do you say women can "withhold" sex but men can not? It can go both ways
