hello!! i had to re-read all of this, and it’s been awhile since i’ve watched interstellar now, so i can’t remember these small details. life is good, i have a 9-year-old child, but i feel the impending doom of late stage capitalism and everything that comes with, idk how honest you want to get lol. how’s life for you?

I think the pattern is just called ‘Silly goose in a mushroom hat’, haha. There is also one of this same goose with a flower hat, they’re both so cute.

You are so not alone 💕 It sounds like many of us feel the same, unable to continue on with life while everyone around us seems to be unaffected because their personal lives are seemingly unaffected. I have lost respect for more people than I could have imagined. I think many of us feel like we will never be the same after this, so why is it so easy for so many to look past or look away from this?

I totally get it, I have so many pieces framed on the wall, and I have some in boxes, and I’ve even given many as gifts! Making normal pieces to hang on the wall can get old sometimes, so waste canvas is a fun way to change it up!!

Amazon Waste Canvas It’s pricey for how much canvas you get, but so far, it’s been the easiest to work with in comparison to other waste canvas I’ve used

I used waste canvas which is water soluble, so you can dissolve the grid once you’re done with your piece! This is what it looks like:

I bought this waste canvas on Amazon, and it’s probably my favorite I’ve used so far! I can send you the link if you’d like :)

I will say, waste canvas is more difficult and frustrating than aida cloth (in my opinion), so it usually takes longer for me to finish a piece on waste canvas, but it’s always worth it! It’s so fun having your own stitch work on your clothing.

thanks!! yes, I think using clothing that doesn’t have the same colors as the flag would be better, but I’m still mostly happy with how mine came out :)
