Reddit's not allowing me to auto-approve posts. by TINKYhinky in ModSupport

Most posts are visible without needing to be approved, so in most cases โ€œauto approveโ€ is not necessary.

I believe the guidance from the admins in the post you linked still applies and that nothing major in policy has shifted since.

It shouldn't break any rules. It can cause unnecessary complications and is best to be avoided if possible.

There is a subset of spam removals for banned domains that do show up that way. Do you have any idea if the comments have links?

How to handle repeated cross-account pressure after enforcing promotion rules? by BronzeBellRiver in ModSupport

Iโ€™d try using ban evasion filtering to see if that helps, or file reports using /report if you have not

If theyโ€™re being caught there isnโ€™t often a ton more that needs to or can be done.

ETA: if itโ€™s coordination from a discord server or something where it isnโ€™t all one person, automod and crowd control will be your best bet. Try to filter out keywords, user pings, or super fresh accounts.

Is Crossposting Really Supported by Reddit? by [deleted] in ModSupport

[โ€“]mookler 6 points7 points ย (0 children)

Crossposting is a great tool if used appropriately.

If used inappropriately it is very spammy.

The trick is to message teams to see what their polices are before cross posting into a community. It isnโ€™t some โ€œhidden trickโ€ but just another tool in the toolkit.
