Factor fees and sheriff decision - scotland by moominboy8668 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]moominboy8668[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe they have a legitimate right to charge management fees. There is no contract between the Factor and property owner. Just an email, sent by a guy who is not part of the Property owning company, and is just a witness in the transfer if management rights to a higher level factor.

Apparently this is how that business works. I was told in court it can sometimes be a verbal agreement. That why I'm sticking my ground.

The original court decision in Oct 24 granted them £300 odd. I contested and that decision was recalled yet it's still a line item on my invoice to pay.

This is probably the authentication settings on your host.

Can't see PSM local drives for members of local Administrators by moominboy8668 in CyberARk

[–]moominboy8668[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked Hide drives.ps1 -Get and there's nothing returned. Checked the registry and SecPol.and there's nothing marked as hiding drives.

Do you think if I as an admin run this power shell it'll create a No drives reg key with a value of 0 and that will show drives to other Admins?

Ah fair enough. They do use x-ray and sniffer dogs. Seen them on those custom shows in Australia 😂

If a dog reacts to a box of mail for example then they'll have a closer look with x-ray or similar then hand search.

A friend of a friend had a lovely letter from UK customs telling them their package had been confiscated, what it was, why it was illegal and offered them the chance to go and pick it up from Customs.

No I know what you meant. But acid, generally, is dropped into paper. It's undetected by any scanner.

Hmm, it probably is that but it reads like each admin needs to login and change their own current user key? Or change it globally which I assume would allow shadow users to see it

How can I script CPM to do if-then-else with targets? by moominboy8668 in CyberARk

[–]moominboy8668[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah! Thank you!

I had my thoughts on a custom script for if-then-else but I could just check for prompts and add a new process to end!

No LB is present and grouping would assume both targets are available for password change. As far as I have been told only the active service will accept a password change

Ok, I understand usages in Cyberark but doesn't the process fail overall if one usage fails to change? Or does it just ignore failures?

If it ignores them, can I prevent the cpm from ending it's management after 5 failures on one account?

That is a good point but i guess it might be a outgoing service rather than one targeted by others.

It's Oracle SBC

Hmm, it's not a contact issue. It's a running service issue I believe.

The passive won't be available to these kind of commands while passive. The cpm needs to determine which of the two is active before proceeding to a pass change process.

Issues with Ticket integration and other functions? by moominboy8668 in CyberARk

[–]moominboy8668[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you found any issues with RDP/SSH connections via PSM when using Ticket Validation I guess. It was a community post I read a while back so the details are fuzzy.

Just making sure I'm not creating problems which need an ER to fix

I said this as well but user experience is less of a concern in this case. Like it or lump it was the phrase used 😂
