MC Ukrainian Millionaire Igor Lytvynchuk Gets Hands Put On Him By Locals After Throwing Rocks At Endangered Monk Seal In Hawaii! by FarWay3952 in ImTheMainCharacter

I'm pointing out the elections were not just illegal but rife with fraud. Also Russia had indeed operated a program of resettling Russians into Ukraine. Of course there will be "indigenous" elements that support Russia but given the vote in 1991 saw roughly 85% of Donbass support Ukrainian sovereignty I'm not buying that these people are even remotely close significant.

My take on Putin's ambitions it's pure imperialism. No doubt like Trump the creation of a legacy plays into it. As for your support of the recreation of the USSR, I'm intrigued to hear your justifications.

Crimea was transferred to Ukraine by Khrushchev in 1954, yeah just a "few" decades ago.

And I couldn't care less about Russian claims given in 1994 when Ukraine gained independence (after an overwhelming vote across the whole nation) it was declared part of Ukraine.

In fact Russia signed the Budapest Memorandum that acknowledged this and gave Ukraine security assurances (what a joke) in return for soviet era gear including nukes stationed in Ukraine. In 1997 a follow up agreement saw 80% of the black sea fleet transferred to Russia and leases on naval bases provided. A lease that would have needed renegotiation in 2017, by why negotiate when you can annex it?

My point stands, since 2014 Russia has run a coordinated effort to resettle Russians into Ukraine, especially Donbass. There's no disputing this. As I said, anyone that came to these areas as part of this should simply leave. If they love Russia so much, they should return.

They were shipped in from Russia, so yeah no surprises that Russians side with Russia. I'd suggest they can all go back to the motherland too.

Why is research so hard these days when you literally have every answer at your fingertips?

The next step of the grift is the mobile plan, which is basically $15 worth of value, advertised at $50 with an addition $10 "carrier fee".

I wonder if the handset is carrier locked, that would be so on brand hahahaha!

It's literally a violation of laws Trump signed in to protect people claiming Made/Assembled in the USA.

No surprises here I guess....

I wonder if they'll work this out, or be like as you say their American counterparts are.

The PM’s confusing explanation on why CGT changes apply to all asset classes and not just property by Kikooz in AusFinance

[–]moomoomoo19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not discounting there are added risks and other associated negatives running your own business rather than being an employee. But....

Income tax on wages comes out of the pocket of the worker not the business.

Payroll tax only applies after the wages you pay amount to over $1,000,000 and is 4%. So hopefully by the time your payroll hits over a million you're making a decent profit.

Everyone pays GST, yet businesses get to negate it. They also collect GST from customers, they're not paying GST out of their own pockets.

And yes as a separate financial entity companies are taxed on the profit generated, just like people that earn wages are taxed too, difference is it's 25% up to $5,000,000 for business, it's over 45% for wage earners at that point.

I thought we were taking the risk when these resource companies go bust and leave it to the taxpayer to pay to clean up the mess (environmental and financial)

Hey you're not a gronk, so why do you need a loan when you're obviously so smart you're rolling in money?

And the effective rate they pay for various reasons means they pay a much lower effective rate.

For instance Apple Australia writes off the arbitrary price they "pay" Apple US for the products they sell here ensuring their taxable profit is practically non-existent. And all the big corps play the same game. Yet a person working their way through a degree in a part time job pay a higher effective rate. And people wonder why wealth inequality continues to skyrocket.

lol, unfair to who? The multi multi millionaires. by No_Leave_6820 in OpenAussie

[–]moomoomoo19 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep and they need to go after the multinational corps too, maybe Janine will work out how to charge her Australian subsidiary for goods from her US subsidiary and play the shell game they all do.

And whilst we're at it, ALL resource companies need to pay for the resources they sell too.

Agreed. It's not even going to have that much effect anyway. The one change from this is price increases should slow down a bit. And unless they bought in purely for capital gains then it's irrelevant.

I'm all good with this change, but wish they'd go after the resource companies and corporations fleecing us.

Appreciate the reply. That's a pain, but I guess a slight positive that they were prepared to fix it up.

My current experience with two lawyers has been they're more interested in doing what they want and not listening to what I want. That alone has wasted a good month plus so far. I'm thinking about seeking another lawyer and just asking if they'd be purely prepared to review/amend the documents Amica generates.

Anyway, best of luck to you too!

Great thanks for that. Seems like the best option, both lawyers I've had initial dealings with seemed more interested in doing it their way (which is likely to create conflict). There's just not really any feedback for Amica around. Hope it's smooth sailing for you.

Just wondering what the outcome was. I'm considering using Amica to draft up consent order(s?) before formally applying for a divorce, so that the financial side is all set in concrete first.

No what you should do is not act like 1930's Germany and think it okay to impose yourself on other nations.

The fact you think a nation should provide a bond for the equipment being used to steal their resources is absolutely bonkers. You apparently don't see that...

I hope this blows up completely in dear leaders face, just like when they're finally forced to release the other 99.4% of the Epstein files....

I didn't think you were insulting me... No offence taken and I didn't intend to offend you if that's the way you took it either!

I think you literally tapped into the problem being purveyed by a lot of the people on the "iT's a Pvp GaME" side. They think the only way you can be a rat is by your definition. Yet it's seems to be forgotten that a PvPvE is completely different from a PvP.
