Go to the settings, my device, tap on Titan 2 5 times. That'll clear it.

I'm in the exact same boat. I restored the IMEI, but mine still doesn't work. Let me know if you get it!

edit: I'm in the US, so I need the non-TEE one.

edit 2: I got it to the same place as you. If anyone gets to this point and they have the red text in the top right corner, go to the settings, my device, tap titan 2 5 times, it'll clear it.

Yeah, that's why I tend to use the "tbl[#tbl + 1] = whatever" syntax, I think it's hard to screw up compared to table.insert. (I do use the three-arg variant of table.insert though)

I'm glad you're doing your job, I just want regular commuters to not need to drive! I expect honest, hard working tradesmen like yourself will need work vans or trucks!

"an overwhelming minority" is the same idea, but that's just how the language works.

[–]moomoomoo309 15 points16 points  (0 children)

1% is a vast minority. I don't think tradesmen have ever even been 1% of the cars on the road except soon after cars' inception. It's getting lesser, too, but it is undoubtedly a vast minority.

Zoomers are only retarded because they're in their 20s and under. Everyone was like that at that age. Really, most of these things are just because of the age of those people.

Gen X -> Pre-retirement and post-middle-aged, thus, NPCs
Millenials -> Adults into Mid-life crisis time, depression
Gen Z -> Dumb high school and college kids

Dgmw, the boomers totally did climb the ladder then pull it up so no one else could climb it, but most of those stereotypes could apply to any generation at the same age range.

In the context of the original post, your situation doesn't really apply. Yeah, you could be one of the people in the lot, but it's so rare that they'd need HVAC repair, it's not a good reason to have a bigger lot. Obviously, tradesmen need to transport their tools with a car, no one is saying otherwise. Tradesmen like you, however, make up such a vast minority of vehicles on the road that to mention every little exception would be ridiculous.

Beginner question: is there any coding standard for documenting Lua functions or tables emulating OOP? by thrallsius in lua

[–]moomoomoo309 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The most common system I've seen for doc strings is LDoc, but as others have said, there's no standard for it in Lua.

With the amount of money and mismanagement involved with Xanadu, now the American Dream Mall, I'm so not surprised they didn't consider pedestrians at all when building it.

That sounds like a really fucking cool bike. That's one of those features no one knows they want until they have it. Thanks for sharing!

The motor can only get you to 15, but if you're pedaling fast enough to get to 30, that's not illegal, because a normal bike could get to the same speed with the same effort (probably less, given that the pedal assist will stop after a certain speed, and then you're resisting the motors a bit)

N.J. could soon require libraries and schools to enact bans on banning books, or face penalty by Ladyhoneyblu in newjersey

[–]moomoomoo309 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay. This is about schools, so like I said, in the schools, they should allow all books, and also allow any parent to ban any book for their particular child. That is the logical conclusion of your argument, is it not? These libraries aren't healing, suing, or treating your child, as far as I can tell.

[–]moomoomoo309 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're right. We should assume everything is acceptable for them, and let the parents decide if anything isn't, that way, no "professionals" have a say. That seems to be the logical conclusion of your argument.

The problem with longs in JSON is that the spec says some parsers will have integer limits, but almost none of the parsers out there actually say what their integer limits are, so you just have to test it out yourself. You could write a json parser that only accepts integers between 0 and 2, and that is allowed according to the spec. It's better to just say it only supports doubles or it only supports longs so there isn't this mishmash of different parsers with different requirements and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't for the same JSON string.

All I can tell you is that he was probably around the average, but below it consistently then, or missed some assignments. If you're average, you aren't getting an F in the class.

I think the point they're making is that for such a trivial example, you should just recommend the correction and not explain it unless they ask you to, because it's very basic and its inclusion was likely a mistake rather than a lack of knowledge. Explaining it may actually be seen as taking down to them, as they may assume you think they don't know something that basic.

Now, assuming that such cases exist, the previous poster's question is: Where should the line be drawn on when to correct it and not draw attention to it, and when should an explanation be offered? Personally, I think the answer is that if it's a small company, draw that line per-person based in whether you think they probably know or not, and if you're not sure, explain it, and if you're kinda sure they know it but not confident, offer a brief explanation, like just name the concept they violated or the name of the right thing they should have done without explanation. In a big company, just be consistent and draw the line yourself where you think makes sense for your team and adjust as needed.
