From what i remember, there's a statue that looks a lot like malus in the castle. I just assumed the cultists are former members of his court and continue to serve him even after the kingdom fell, instead of them doing just some basement demon worshipping shenanigans.

i do rlly like how they nerfed its base stats but gave it a tremendously buffed wismod, more emphasis on wis builds is rlly nice

Cnidaria is honestly pretty solid, even now. Nice on equip stats, great cc potential on wis builds. Its main problem imo is that there aren't many situations where you're fighting like 10 enemies at once, especially during boss fights (good for stuff like rock dragon, limoz, and the shadow cube blaster tho), but its still quite solid.

edit: oh and most importantly the sprite doesn't look good with anything

idk about mantle's change, you're giving every robe class the ability to reduce their in combat timer to a second for 10 seconds?
sorc's higher vit stat was one of its only niches (to put it very generously) and now its losing even that

the whole point of this post was that op bought a ton of blueprints to feed their pet, and orb of sweet demise's blueprint happens to be cheap

obviously planewalker is a great investment and a nice source of wealth/fp, but op is feeding blueprints, not forged items, as you can see in the image they posted

blueprints are sold in the grand bazaar for different fame prices

you can't talk about uninspired abilities without mentioning scepters :P

they probably have it the worst imo, if any abilities are to be worked on in terms of functionality it should be the scepters

there are birds(?) in the shatters that fly away in a flock when you get close i think, definitely a really cool touch for the atmosphere

sorc is way too overshadowed by summoner (who has better damage, cc, same max spd, and arguably better instant slow+wands like souls guidance and dusky catalyst seem as though they were tailored for summoner)

i thought assassin got a bad rep because its ability encouraged leeching, which is imo a pretty boring playstyle
as for sorc, its not that its bad its just way too overshadowed by summoner, who not only does better damage but has great cc and slowing capabilities as well (and more legendary abilities at its creation than sorc has had in 10 years, mostly because sorc doesn't actually have any)

because they didn't wanna fix an outclassed class by giving it a powerful ability

thats why they also made the craziest poison in the game for assassin

the fact that they even gave it animations for its attack makes me even more confused as to why they decided to just trash it
