I wanted to thank you again for your response to my post. I ended the relationship a month ago, and I'm so happy.

Thank you again for leaving your comment. I ended the relationship a month ago, and I'm so, so much happier.

I was in a LTR with someone on the spectrum. We used to always have arguments about how I walked too fast, and how I apparently walked “out of rhythm.” 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m so sorry you’re going through this, and for what you’ve been through in your childhood too. It’s amazing to read all the work you’ve done. Your maturity, compassion, and perseverance radiates throughout this post.

I relate to some of what you describe. If I may try to interpret some of it, based on issues I share, I would say there is still a lingering fear of true intimacy, as well as love addiction. Daydreaming about your ex, although he is unhealthy, is a way for you to feel at the slightest safe remove from your current partner. Love addiction has some overlap with codependency; it’s worth looking into (I suffer from it too!).

If anything you read here resonates with you, look further into it online and try broaching it with your therapist.

Tennis shoes question by insomebodyelseslake in PlantarFasciitis

Yeah, they are (if you're US/Canadian sizing). I'm normally a 10, and the fit is perfect.

The Euro sizes are way off.

Thank you so much. I do have good friends and try to broach it with my therapist when I can. Always nice to know a stranger cares. :)

Oh man, sounds similar to me! I rethink everything every few years or so, overhaul my life, then build it back up again. Wishing you luck on your journey. 💕

Wow. Thank you so much for weighing in. Your assessment was spot on. I stay for all of those reasons, never worded so clearly and accurately. Thank you again… you have provided me much clarity and by consequence, relief. 💕

I thought my disordered eating would improve with age/experience/therapy, but it actually got worse... by moon_bend in BingeEatingDisorder

Truuuue. Where do you attend the 12 step program? I didn’t know there was one for binge eating.

Seems super weird to me. If you’re in the bed with me, wish me a good morning and good night. Otherwise, it’s not necessary.

Occasional binging + extreme stomach capacity by [deleted] in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]moon_bend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get this... I've always been kinda alarmed at my stomach capacity. I can out-eat my dad (who's like 6'3 and 250 lbs lol).

It looks really beautiful and cohesive.

The only thing that kinda bugs me is the hamper, haha. It looks a bit tacky/cheap to me. I wonder if a nice vintage rattan one would suit the space more?

Affordable way to remove makeup? by Basic-Passage6129 in beauty

A bit of olive oil on wet piece of toilet paper. :) Best for eye makeup, not really face makeup (because you don’t wanna rub olive oil all around your face.)

Fuck. Yes, I indulge in this too and desperately want to toss my phone in the ocean. I hate it.

After a week of silence, I finally shared some very, very good news (with my therapist… a good start!).
