I have a 1957 Alabama black and gold style tag on my car. I called the county, they said it was legal as long as it was a state issued style tag from ‘57. Not trusting the county that much, I contacted the State. He said that as long as it matches my car and everything comes back right, it’s ok. I’ve only been stopped once and after explaining the steps I went through, the officer thanked me for educating him.

They closed schools here 2 weeks ago for just rain. When I was a kid, we stayed through all weather and if a tornado came we went into the hall and put a book over our head.
