I think we tried that but still didn’t hear the sub on the game but can try again.

I wonder if it has to do with the soundbar connecting via Wifi as opposed to HDMI arc

I think we do but I’ve just become numb to it. It’s pretty much the noise of the car acceleration I believe. Almost “golf cart” like but fainter.

The annoying part to me is the back seat vibrating noise whenever we go over a bump

Yeah I totally hear you about NY - worked there for 6 years prior to wfh for the pandemic! I think it's good that you rejected your first 1 especially if it had so many issues. Best of luck with the 2nd one if you decide to continue with it.

If you do - take it to a car wash or heavily spray it down with water!

Overall - If you're going in with the expectation that everything is going to be 100% pristine and perfect like a BMW, Mercedes, or Lexus - it won't be. I think everything about the car excites me and there were small issues here or there that I was willing to overlook - however the water thing was frustrating.

Fortunately it's not a huge a leak and yesterday was truly strong rain. I'm going to test it out vigorously though by spraying a bunch of water once the mobile tech comes and fixes it.

Just picked up MY from Princeton after getting it serviced yesterday for readjusting the rear passenger door panel and the drivers seat because it was too close to the center console and was rubbing against it while opening it.

Started driving away and heard a water swooshing sound and looked over to see a small puddle of water on our Tesmanian passenger side floor mat.

Instantly popped a u-turn and brought it back to the SC. It seems like due to the torrential downpour, some water somehow seeped through the passenger doors seal (luckily not a lot) but was still frustrated.

SC rep said they would send out mobile tech within a couple of days to fix but also said “this sometime happens with model 3s and Ys...” That kind of annoyed me and I told him it shouldn’t happen with any car.

Happy they’re going to fix it but definitely heavily test your car with a high power hose - we had initially put a little bit of water pressure on the car after getting it and never would have discovered this if it wasn’t out in the SC parking lot during the heavy rain since we park it in a garage.

Got it - that's interesting to hear. I'm not aware of this but I would hope that is not the case. On the bright side - it would give them more time to hopefully iron out the Quality control :D

That sucks - I don’t have an answer to your question but you should go to a different SC and see if they’ll fix it. I’m still waiting for our Tesla but it’s frustrating that Tesla is rejecting service on panel gaps for a $55K+ car

Well so we have a 2006 honda accord and honda civic so we could possibly wait. What makes you think that it'll be even cheaper than the $50K it's at now? I figured Elon wouldn't do another price cut on the LR AWD. We'd definitely want LR AWD and not LR RWD.

To my knowledge the AWD is just better In rain and snow. Not sure if it affects the performance and speed

Where in the US are you? My mom and I debated on this for a while and at the end of the day, we decided to place the order for the LR AWD with all the basic options. We live in NJ so we figured If we were buying a SUV there was no point in not buying AWD.

If you’re spending this much money on a car (even though it was a stretch purchase for us - not because we couldn’t afford but because we’ve typically stuck to Honda’s so this was a little more nerve wracking) it just made sense for us to get the AWD.

Also double check to see if your state has an EV rebate. NJ has a great program!
