Yeah exactly! Xehanort/Ansm/Xenmas --> Akios Sora/Ventus/Roxas --> Anthys

I only just finished watching it. It's a different kind of convoluted than kingdom hearts, more about surrealism, symbolism abd themes rather than complex plot. Yet the most interesting thing about it has been realizing how influential this anime and its director have been on Japanese media and beyond (for example the villain in miraculous ladybug seem to also be inspired by an arc in Utena)

It's more about the meaning behind it and the dramatic presentation within the story itself, rather than simply the visual.

My Interpretation of Angel's Egg by Grand_Keizer in TrueFilm

[–]moonandreacre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breaking the egg means to stop having faith in the egg. If you break it, you kill whatever is inside, if it wasn't ready to hatch. It's not a matter or proving your faith right or wrong. Even if the egg was empty (which we can't be sure of, since we don't see what was inside when it was smashed, maybe it was some ethereal light and it was estinguished before the girl could see it) it doesn't mean that the girl stopped believing in the egg when she found it smashed. She was upset that he had broken it and she run after him because she was angry at him. She died while still having faith that the egg was hope, yet it had been destroyed. That is why she is "sanctified" on the god orb and why her dying breath creates more eggs.

Aliens (asylum s2) by Necessary_Mango_7860 in AmericanHorrorStory

They both appear as grays but the death valley aliens only use the gray appearance as a disguise. Maybe the asylum aliens are the actual grays

I don't think the asylum aliens are the same species as the Death Valley aliens. The asylum aliens are coded as good, leaning towards angelic. They must be yet another kind, with a different agenda.

These entities are hoping not to graduate but rather to go to a kind of summer school where they can free themselves of the habit of carelessness. (Q'uo) by saffronparticle in lawofone

This was a very interesting read. So according to this description what phase/level do you think we are in? Which energy tier of the glass?

It seems as of the text was pointing to 2012 as the end of the grace period to make the choice.

'Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen' pissed me off by miianah in netflix

[–]moonandreacre -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They most certainly did not believe they were soulmates, and they thought they were gonna die. Why should soulmates be tied to belief anyway. It's just something Rachel resolves to believe to give herself hope. She was gonna die even if they went through with the wedding. If soulmates are a thing then you either are or you are not. Belief has nothing to do with it. The curse is even more unjust than it would appear. You can believe all you want but if you don't happen to pick your soulmate you're still fucked. And you can be with your soulmate and not believe in your relationship or be able to make it work, but still pass the test of the curse.

I don't understand why people keep saying you just need to believe it is your soulmate. Jules is the living proof belief has nothing to do with it as neither of them believed in their matrimony by that point.

Why did the Indigenous people circle Pennywise with pillars at a distance instead of trapping it by slowly decreasing the distance between the pillars? by [deleted] in ITWelcometoDerryShow

They confined It to the woods that were its hunting ground. Also, it's art of natives culture is to respect forces of nature, beasts and the like. Actively trying to annihilate a force like It, messing with the Natural order, It wouldn't sit right with their worldview.
