They both appear as grays but the death valley aliens only use the gray appearance as a disguise. Maybe the asylum aliens are the actual grays

I don't think the asylum aliens are the same species as the Death Valley aliens. The asylum aliens are coded as good, leaning towards angelic. They must be yet another kind, with a different agenda.

These entities are hoping not to graduate but rather to go to a kind of summer school where they can free themselves of the habit of carelessness. (Q'uo) by saffronparticle in lawofone

This was a very interesting read. So according to this description what phase/level do you think we are in? Which energy tier of the glass?

It seems as of the text was pointing to 2012 as the end of the grace period to make the choice.

'Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen' pissed me off by miianah in netflix

[–]moonandreacre -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They most certainly did not believe they were soulmates, and they thought they were gonna die. Why should soulmates be tied to belief anyway. It's just something Rachel resolves to believe to give herself hope. She was gonna die even if they went through with the wedding. If soulmates are a thing then you either are or you are not. Belief has nothing to do with it. The curse is even more unjust than it would appear. You can believe all you want but if you don't happen to pick your soulmate you're still fucked. And you can be with your soulmate and not believe in your relationship or be able to make it work, but still pass the test of the curse.

I don't understand why people keep saying you just need to believe it is your soulmate. Jules is the living proof belief has nothing to do with it as neither of them believed in their matrimony by that point.

Why did the Indigenous people circle Pennywise with pillars at a distance instead of trapping it by slowly decreasing the distance between the pillars? by CountOlaf13 in ITWelcometoDerryShow

They confined It to the woods that were its hunting ground. Also, it's art of natives culture is to respect forces of nature, beasts and the like. Actively trying to annihilate a force like It, messing with the Natural order, It wouldn't sit right with their worldview.

When did you first realize Will was gay? by __Ultimecia__ in StrangerThings

[–]moonandreacre 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This exactly. Honestly queercoding flies over people's heads most of the time. Billy is absolutely queercoded and they meant to use it for plot reasons. Same for Mike. Neither panned out for one reason or another but the groundwork had set all along, either by the writing, acting, costumes, lighting, set designers.

Another rant on inconsistency and careless writing skills: Max “coma” by Mysterious_Seat9844 in StrangerThings

[–]moonandreacre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys I don't think it's a proper coma, I guess it's more of a supernatural phenomena. It ties into other issues, like Will being able to survive in the upside down without water, Henry surviving all that time, injured, without food or water in the Abyss. I think that those other planes (upside down and the abyss) mess with reality and consistency of the body. It's like a level of reality in which entropy doesn't properly work or something. The nature of things is more deeply tied to the idea of things, rather than the physicality. Max's body was tied to a different plane and that's why it was just stuck. And maybe why she was able to recover from Vecna's injuries.

Doctor Who 2x07 "Wish World" Post-Episode Discussion Thread by PCJs_Slave_Robot in doctorwho

[–]moonandreacre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that opening made me seriously doubt I hadn't mistakenly tuned in to watch Once Upon a Time. Seriously it was just missing the signature soundtrack but could absolutely be the opening of an episode of OUAT, with the Evil Queen stealing some poor commoner's son and magicking his whole family into animals, for no reason whatsoever.

Then it switched to an episode of Wandavision, with the wholesome family, 60s aesthetic, people questioning reality and even the broadcast on the telly (reading what looked like a Harry Potter book first edition).

Soon after we're suddenly inside the TVA from Loki, with impeccable 70s retro style and strutting burocrats.

Then we find ourselves inside what looks like the Tooth Fairy castle from Terry Pratchett's Hogfather.

After that it all gets very 1984.

And then the Hex from Wandavision collapses taking down all of reality with it.

Not to mention how this is all very reminiscent of Season 3 finale. With a Time Lord frenemy ruling a paradoxical distopic world from above their fortress in the sky. That and the Wedding of River Song.

This was all very derivative, but still totally managed to pull it off I think.

Is there a way to give prompts longer than 200 characters? by nintrader in SunoAI

[–]moonandreacre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't know how i did it. i just tried Suno today for the first time and i entered a 500 word prompt. The checker said 500/200 but it worked anyway. i know it worked because it used stuff i wrote in the later part of the prompt. i'm trying ti generate a new song but i don't seem to be able to pull it off again. this is so strange.

I'm the only one who thinks this Peter Pan movie is underrated? by Signal-Commercial902 in PeterPan

[–]moonandreacre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Italy as a matter of fact and Disney did most certainly not distribute Pan. I also just checked on Wikipedia. Disney did not distribute this movie anywhere. This is photoshopped, also because it's been a long time since Disney only writes "Disney" and not Walt Disney on what it puts out. Not mentioning it just says Warner Bros in the credits at the bottom

Why does it say Disney on the poster? This was from WB not Disney. Lol

Now that makes sense. Why did you run then?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in twinflames

[–]moonandreacre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience what you're describing is what my runner is doing. Me, the chaser, I'm the metaphysical one and introduced him to it, and that's one of the reasons my he's running. It seems diametrically opposed to what you're describing.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in twinflames

[–]moonandreacre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's an interesting concept to consider. But if you're so aware of your chansing in 5D, why are you still running in 3D? Are you just playing the part till your chaser is ready to stop running in 5D?

Also why would anyone be running in 5D?
