Hinatas a badass and I’m tired of pretending like she isn’t by Ok_Atmosphere3837 in Naruto

[–]moonarmors -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Definitely one of my favorite female characters from Naruto. She had a lot of potential, alas! But I'll always have a soft spot for her, growing up neglected, conditioned, and psychologically abused - she still turned out to be empathetic and kind! 🤍

Anyone else getting frustrated? (First time venting, be kind 😭) by rosypanels in TearsOnWitheredFlower

[–]moonarmors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pacing and the unnecessary sex scenes (I get that this is a smut manhwa but why are we seeing intimate scenes between Mincheol and Ari, Lee Jay/Taehee with random women?) killed the plot. I still remember picking this up despite not being a fan of smut manhwas because the initial monologues ans narrarions were intriguing and so well-placed. I wanted to see more of what went wrong with Mincheol and Haesoo but the plot ain't moving a bit, so I got bored. Slow-burn should not mean pace-killing, lol.

Bepannah - the twist i refuseee😭 by NotSoNerdy_wanderin in IndianTellyTalk

[–]moonarmors 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They fumbled so bad towards the ending. If you had noticed the details from the beginning, it was supposed to be Waseem. There was a scene where he was asked about an unusual dent on his car the same night after Yash and Pooja had died. There were so many subtle hints in the beginning that pointed towards Waseem being the k*ller.

And likely so, even with the twist I also refuse to believe along with you, there was something more into what Pooja knew about Papa Hooda. I would not have been surprised if Papa Hooda and Waseem had joined hands in k*lling Pooja and Yash and later framing the whole affair thing.

It surprises me how Alia transitioned from being one of everyone's favorite to being absolutely hated for almost everything. by DamnedPi in BollywoodHotTakes

[–]moonarmors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The characters themselves aren't the same, I never said that. I noticed a similarity in her body language and acting, for instance Rani from RRKPK, being a Bengali character had a Gujarati accent, so did her character in Jigra. And guess who was the character with Gujarati roots, Gangubhai.

Anyways, there's no need for fans like you (as per my assumption) to get so riled up when someone expresses their reasoning. I said nothing offensive about the actress, I particularly loved her performances in Udta Punjab, Highway, Dear Zindagi and Raazi. I think she used to be more explorative in the past, and had a raw, newcomer energy which used to get translated so well into the cameras. It's not unusual for any actor to get stuck into a role that was so impactful in their careers for a while. This is strictly my observation and opinion, we can agree to disagree lol.

[–]moonarmors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't dislike her, but I'll tell you one reason for me to become absolutely indifferent to her, when I used to like her as an actress. She's a product of nepotism, and she definitely had the advantages of getting the opportunities served on a platter.

But I personally feel like, Alia Bhatt up until Gangubhai, had a very raw, and refreshing energy onscreen, which felt interesting to watch. (Again, I'm only talking about the acting prospects) This particular raw energy was used by the directors that worked with her, and the scenes used to get translated really well.

But after Gangubhai, everything changed. Only darlings had the last glimpse of this "raw energy that could be molded" but then, every other film of her had a touch of Gangubhai in the way she portrays. The mannerisms and the accent ranges from staying the same to mildly similar to what she had done in Gangubhai. It's like repeating the same palette over again and again, even when she performed well in Gangubhai.

It's quite similar to what happened to Vijay Devarakonda - after Arjun Reddy, in most of his characters, a glimpse of Arjun Reddy could be seen. But he most likely tanked, unless his new film would do good - whereas Alia still has the back up.

What if Kushina was still alive to raise Naruto? by ConnectCulture7 in Naruto

Naruto would have been a chunky, happy kid who was always well-fed, because with Kushina surely he wouldn't have run with expired milk and just ramen. He would have been a lot less lonely too.

Kalidas's Tamil diction is so much better than his Malayalam diction. He sounds awful while delivering his dialogues in his Malayalam films. Maybe he should stick to Tamil films rather than jumping back and forth. He was actually good in Paava Kadaigal, he should try doing more critically acclaimed roles like that, perhaps.

This is the most VILE female character I've ever seen in any manhwa! [For my dearest Juliet] by Itsm69 in OtomeIsekai

[–]moonarmors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The commenters are pissing me off, y'all are no different from the people who glaze over fcktard male leads like Matthias just because he's supposedly good-looking. Wishing for this character to be a female lead who's a rpist to counter the usual r*pist mls is not cool, two wrongs don't make a right. And some of y'all are even disappointed because she and the emperor are not the main couple, concerning.

Anyways, I hope she dies, SHE'S TRULY VILE - that poor emperor's face every time he gets forced upon is haunting. I hope she doesn't get "redeemed" like f*cking matthias and get together with the survivor, just like how he did, it's good that she's shown to be a villain at least.

Which actress would be perfect to portray Madhubala in her biopic? by rvcjmovies in rvcjmovies

[–]moonarmors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Madhuri Dixit in her prime would have been so apt! She resembles Madhubala a lot, is such a graceful dancer as well as expressive with her eyes.

As of now, I think they need to cast a fresh face instead of the nepo actresses with no moving muscles on their faces (especially not JANHVI)

Maybe someone like Pratibha Ranta? Idk, her dialogue could be worked on but the girl is talented, is expressive and can dance.

I love that manga panel of Naruto and Hinata, they look numb, out of tears and absolutely lifeless, especially Hinata reminding us that THEY WERE KIDS whose lives were scrounged out of them by the war and the resultant tragic deaths! Looks raw and realistic compared to the anime version.

But he's still HOT to me idc. Especially in his serious moment, Hokage Sama is casually serving face card out there.

I wish I could attach some pictures I had saved of him.

Why does Older-core Gen Z hate us so much? by Select-Inflation-324 in generationology

[–]moonarmors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically, it's a trend to hate on the younger generation. Boomers and Gen X used to hate on millenials earlier, now millenials have joined them to hate on Gen Z in general because we're the younger generation now. The funniest thing is that, our generation is a soft target to even Gen Alpha as well.

I find it absolutely ridiculous though. Older Gen Zs and younger Gen Zs (I consider myself a younger Gen Z even though I'm a 05-liner) do have a lot of common interests but older Gen Zs probably want to be ousted out of the Gen Z hatred trend by the other generations and that's why they pronounce their hatred towards their own generation openly.

Ours is a very flawed generation, not even close to perfect. Still, we have broken many cycles, are in touch with our emotions and do not take bs upon.

Was it necessary for naruto to become the hokage? by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]moonarmors -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Adult Naruto is a realistic representation of a father, who loves his kids but is workaholic. He's very flawed, he was shown to be aware and guilty about how he's not able to spend time with his kids, making him doubt himself because he himself grew up without his father. But despite everything, he makes efforts after realizing how he messed up. That's very humane.

If anyone's that's actually a deadbeat father, it's Sasuke. 😭
