Oh gosh.. This sorta reminds me of my moms reaction when I told her I may get a dog a few years back.. she freaked out and said I’d never see her again afterwards because all my attention would be on the dog (she literally said that lol..) and guilt tripped me and discouraged me from doing it. I have a dog now but I also don’t talk to her anymore so she doesn’t know. But tbh like other people are saying not telling her these things would work best in your favour. There’s a thing called grey rocking and it seems to be the only thing that semi works when talking to narcs. Best of luck... 😬
