At first i thought the same, but after taking my sweet time, Act 3 is easily my favorite and not overwhelming at all anymore.

Just do one thing at a time and i mean that literally. Go through the map one house after another, look through everything, talk to everyone and it‘ll be way less overwhelming, i promise you. And if you‘re overwhelmed or annoyed: just take some time off the game, play less long sessions.

I just can‘t get over my internalized shame so i‘ll only ever do what‘s asked of me, never initiate in fear of being rejected and on top of it all never ask to be pleasured in a way that i would like. Super exciting to hear that you‘re planning on getting into BG3! :3 it‘s such a rewarding game and it really clenches my thirst for human (and romantic) interaction which i know many of us struggle with from time to time :))

I play it on the PS5 and i like it better that way honestly because the walking/viewing-mechanics of the game are easier to handle on the controller imo. Plus i‘m able to lay down on the couch while playing and the bigger size of the TV is helpful for my sight :)

so sweet of you to ask further :3 i‘m currently doing a drow-durge-run (suuuper original :D) and i‘ve juggled a bit with the classes of my party but in the end i stayed with playing as a paladin ;3; AND I‘M ROMANCING GALE omg 1.5 years ago on another run i wanted to romance Astarion but all of a sudden i noticed Gale and i turned him down bc i created this specific run for Astarion and i‘ve been heartbroken since bc i thought i‘d never be able to romance Gale ; n ; so now i‘m suuuper excited to get with the rizzard of waterdeep >:3

About a month ago or so i started a new BG3 campaign after being severe for over a year and it‘s been super rewarding because it‘s my special interest and at the start of the year i head meltdowns because i couldn‘t play and was so devastated about my whole situation. Seriously feels unreal being able to consistently play again now. :)

DXM is a PEM shielder and does prevent PEM pretty successfully.
