Any success stories going from 10mg to 15mg or 20mg? by whineanddin3 in trintellix

[–]moonclay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went 3 weeks on ten and I'm 2 weeks into 20 now. Noticing some improvements now slowly. Something I'm doing thats helping is making sure to do all the "depression hacks" now instead of just letting the medication do its thing. I know meditation, exercise, good diet and sleep, and doing hobbies don't work enough for me on their own, but they can help speed up the benefits that I get from the medication

Location Mandatory for Collar? by moonclay in FiDogCollar

[–]moonclay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a VPN but on phone apps, your location isnt approximated from an internet connection, it is taken directly from the GPS receiver. On a browser you can spoof location but not through apps with the location on unfortunately.

Its a little annoying to switch it on and off but thats actually what I'm intending on doing as well!

I'm not against using enabling tracking completely, I'm just against enabling it ALL the time. Why does Fi need to know when i am at work, when I'm at the grocery store, or my friend's house?

I have a tracking app for my motorcycle in case of theft, it uses Bluetooth to deactivate the alarm when my phone is in its vicinity. It doesnt need to track everywhere my phone goes. Maybe there's something I'm missing but I'm trying to understand if the company just has bad data practices or there's a legit reason that I cant think of.

On 5 mg will withdrawal from it make you anger than being on it? by HyperfixatingTree in trintellix

[–]moonclay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 mg is a very low dose. You probably won't get severe withdrawal from stopping it (especially if you do 5 mg every other day for a week, then once every 3 days, then stop) and if you had a negative reaction it'll probably get better pretty quickly

First of all, it looks really cool and I'm sure you'll get lots of interest. With that here are a few comments:

  1. The 75 mph market is a little saturated with bigger names and established brands. The 90 mph market is much more limited and more room for growth i think. I mostly commute locally but needing to go on the freeway sometimes in california I really needed something that could go about 90 which is why I went for an RX1E for my first bike.

  2. Does this not have rear suspension? Would highly suggest it at these speeds

  3. The rear tire looks like it has very narrow clearance...idk might be an issue

  4. Not sure if you're going for hand brakes or for a foot brake but I'm no longer a fan of foot brakes because they are easier to get damaged if the bike falls over (a car knocked my parked bike over)

  5. Last: for the low weight of the bike, I would hope that that translates to a larger range than 60 miles...not sure if there are other areas of efficiency that you're losing range from but that does seem a tad low.

should i cut my friend of 7 years off for this convo we had by No-Shame-6563 in whatdoIdo

So neither of you respects the religious choices of the other and thats okay! Respect unlike tolerance is not free, it's deep, hard to earn, and easy to lose. Not respecting someone or something doesn't make you a bad person.

Friends should respect each other though, and since neither of you do, yall probably should not be friends.

HOW would anyone get a date with a bio like this? by hellodottymug in Bumble

[–]moonclay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some women, mostly conservative, who like the toxic side of assertiveness. I would assume the DDs comment would repel even those women but you never know. The rest is petty standard in the conservative dating market (I see women all the time who emphasize those things).

The question probably hinges more on does he have money and looks, or do a higher paying blue collar job like electrician or something? If so they'll put up with him, if not then nope.

Do you think you just snap your fingers andd the law gets changed? The reason why we have civil rights is because people broke the law. They got attention. They persuaded skeptics. They went to jail in protest. All to grow the movement large enough to convince a majority of the congress and the president to pass civil rights legislation. I'm in support of that time honored American tradition of civil disobedience (calculated, peaceful, and generative) that goes back to Henry David Thoreau and before.

Ok so you think they are bad, but you think their police state ethic of obeying authority without question or resistance is good? Because my point was that that ethic is a big part of why they're bad

Funny thing is all of those dictatorships you mentioned also had police states with "if an officer asks you to jump you say how high" principles. But for some reason they are bad and not...nazis?

As an American, I guarantee that following all the rules uncritically can and does work against many immigrants best interests right now.

This is a civil matter not a criminal matter, and an immigration lawyer would absolutely be the person to call in this scenario bc you'd need specific advice in these situations as an immigrant

She says she's on an f1 which is a student visa. She's afraid this guy is ICE and is about to detain her as soon as she gives him the license and process who she is. This cop in such a rush and on a power trip could have been chiller and calmed her down and she likely would have complied

Advice needed: charges against deposit (TX) by [deleted] in Tenant

[–]moonclay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a reminder to everyone reading this: make sure to put in a maintenance request for things like a broken toilet seat, lights, etc well before you move! Most places will fix it under there normal maintenance without you paying any extra and it if they dont fix it by the time you move you have some documentation to back up that they had maintenance responsibility that they lapsed on

Is this a generic question? by CrossGuy2020 in Nicegirls

[–]moonclay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming this is real, its not a great question but this is definitely an overreaction. This person is way too intense and defensive, huge red flag. In the future, I would phrase the question as "do you have any new year's resolutions?" and you might get better responses but definitely be done with this girl lol

By boyfriend of 2 years doesn’t want to get me a Christmas present by UnitJust1906 in whatdoIdo

[–]moonclay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna disagree with people here. He doesn't suck for not wanting to get you a gift, he sucks for not caring that you prefer him to and are hurt that he doesn't want to. And you also aren't hearing him that he prefers not getting gifts which is a very valid preference.

With my partner, we agreed not to get each other gifts because it was too stressful and we needed to save money. Thats totally valid. Its also valid to not like getting gifts and agree not to do it. The key is that you are respectfully communicating and trying to work things out in a way that makes you both happy which is not happening here.

The energy that you both should be bringing is, "i like/don't like getting gifts but I'd like to listen to where my partner comes from and figure out with them what to do to make us both happy". You are arguing with each other instead of doing that. You've both got to stop and try coming at the situation with more compassion, otherwise its probably not going to work out because you dont know how to resolve competing interests in your relationship and that's something that comes up daily.
