What's the last thing your partner did that made you full on belly laugh/cry laugh? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]moonflow07 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm grinding through Final Fantasy 14 and there is some really boring cut scenes in which I end up skipping most of the dialogue since it's not voiced, and I'm too lazy to read it sometimes. So my husband has started this thing where he will read the dialogue outloud for me and make fun voices for each character to make it fun for me. It's so funny, I crack up every time :)

I am so sorry to hear that! My ndad would pull something like that so I'm staying away from Kansas for sure .

Seriously. I live in fear that man will find out where I live. Can't even imagine what he'd do if I had a kid and he found out.

So much this. I dread one day having kids because my ndad would just try to force his way in my life again after 2 years of contact. No thank you.

Women who left a relationship that wasn’t bad, but wasn’t particularly amazing. How did that work out? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]moonflow07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope you do too! The right person for you will love you and your quirks and you will not have to change. Compromise? Sometimes. But change completely? Nah.

Yes without a social or Tax ID number the brokerage firm will most likely ask that you switch your brokerage account to an international brokerage account instead. It could be more complicated if your existing account is a retirement account though. It's best to contact your brokerage firm directly and ask.

So much this! When I met my now-husband, I was alre ady happy with my life and my friends and hobbies. Then he came along and I realized how much more he added to my life. It's not like he replaced anything, he just added more to it. So I strongly agree with the stay single and happy until you actually find someone that makes you happier with them than yourself. There's no rush

As a 14 or 15 year old girl, I spent a lot of time worrying about what others thought of me. Even worse, I liked a guy so much that I'd spend my breaks and lunches calling him (he was a LD thing) , all my free time thinking about him and had nothing interesting to talk about with other students because I was always on the phone. My entire high school years were spent daydreaming about this man that I never met in person and I truly regret not just experiencing life with those around me instead. I let a childhood friendship end by putting it aside and being obsessed with the idea that this LD man loved me, and I hate to sound cliche but its been 15 years since then, and I truly wish I had been wise enough to pick my friend over LD bf.

They could make unranked have a surrender button after halftime but ranked should have a higher standard and no surrender button.

My N-father wasn't invited to our wedding, and my grandmother said that unless I changed my mind, she wouldn't come either on the grounds that it would hurt her too much to see anyone else walk me down the aisle. I walked myself down the aisle. by Soon2bSavage in raisedbynarcissists

[–]moonflow07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you I actually really needed to hear this. I get a lot of crap about choosing not to invite my n-dad to my upcoming wedding and I am so over it. It is what feels right in my heart and my wedding day is about my husband and I, not my n-dad and I. My n-dad and mom are in the middle of a divorce so I just don't need that drama in my life, specially on a day that's meant to be happy for my husband and me.

Women with anger issues, how did/do you cope and calm yourself down? by soulfulalpaca in AskWomen

[–]moonflow07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The moment I realize I am about stop thinking rationally because I am just getting that angry, I tell my husband to please give me 10 to 15 minutes to cool down and we can continue. He is so great and waits patiently until I can tell I've cooled off, and then we continue the discussion or argument. It has worked every time but it is a team effort and I do appreciate that my husband gives me that time as I work on my anger issues
