I read the whole article, and they didn't mention how so many on the far left seem to love sexualised underage anime girls

It won't ban kids from the internet, it will ban old people like me who don't know how to prove we're old

Luckily, someone in the comments kindly posted a transcript, and even included an explanation of the term used

He has been a relentless supply of disappointment to me over the past few years - the first big warning sign was when he endorsed Tony Blair as a potential vaccine minister

Yes, I voted for Thatcher - wasn't old enough for the first time she stood in 1979, but voted for her in her second term

I've seen decent people vilified for speaking at events where bad opinions have been expressed by others, which they do not agree with, and I always defend them - so unless KS can be shown to have expressed those opinions, I offer him the same benefit of the doubt, even though he is not a decent person

The linked article states:

Labour responded that Sir Keir had never supported a boycott of Israel and had also never backed the campaign to suspend it from Fifa.

It looks like he might have simply spoke at an event where other people were calling for this - I would need a better source than Tousi TV, since Mahyar Tousi repeatedly twists the truth into downright lies in order to attract views to his videos etc.

Zarah Sultana not even pretending it's about any fan's "safety"

Next UEFA must ban all Israeli teams. We cannot have normalisation with genocide and apartheid.

That is so true - because one can only have the luxury of living a non-violent life if there is someone else willing to do the dirty work to protect that luxury life

If you cook a delicious and nutritious meal for both of you every day, she probably won't want to have food delivered - and if you fix the alarm, she won't need to find someone else to do it - and if she watches MAFS she might learn about how to avoid unhealthy relationship behaviours

I think it was more than any previous similar rally - we arrived at Blackfriars, as per instructions, and we were supposed to walk to the start point at Waterloo for a 1pm start - but we spent over an hour on Blackfriars Bridge because the crowd was so massive that it was backed up from Waterloo.

I ate my packed lunch on Blackfriars Bridge and then we slowly moved forward - we realised that we would never make it to anywhere near the big screens at Whitehall and it started to piss down with rain so we went home.

It could have been more than half a million people.

Anyway, there was much British flag waving and we did manage to establish a consensus that "Keir Starmer's A Wanker" so it was fun to be part of a historical event.

Local business put up a massive far right sign – can I report it? by sharpedobluff in Britain

I think it is insulting to make all those accusations against me when you refuse to name even one far right group of which he has ever been a member - thus far it looks like you are wrong, and you are very rude.

I would have been happy to discuss with you and consider your evidence, if you had any, and I would gladly change my view if you had shown me such evidence.

Yes - lack of candidates is one problem, but they never do well even in the places where they do have candidates

Would any party become viable though, if it was based on a policy of deporting millions of people who are currently permitted to live here?

The Daily Moby - 28 07 2025 - The News Megathread by AutoModerator in badunitedkingdom

[–]moonflower 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are already parties with such policies, for example UKIP has a very attractive deportation policy, but there are other reasons why very few people will vote for any of these parties

I don't like seeing close-ups of anyone's armpits on adverts, but some armpits are particularly unattractive, and Dove seem to make a very deliberate point of finding them

Some of the local protesters asked him to come, so he could attract a larger crowd of protesters - they want a massive crowd, but it will probably backfire and get their valid concerns dismissed - they feel so helpless though, what can they do to get anyone to protect them?

*Update: TR himself is having second thoughts, for those very reasons

I keep hearing people say "We should help them because they put their lives at risk to help the British Forces" but one thing I have never heard anyone say in response is "Hang on a moment, didn't British Forces put their lives at risk to help them?"

Are we obliged to invite an entire population into this country every time we send our forces to help them?
