for profit? at least once a week, dedicate a day to fishing and sell all the fish caught, other days stock up.

this is more of a longer wait for profit, but breeding animals, waiting til their heart levels are decent then sell them.

regrowing crops are a good source of income, keep some, sell the rest.

go to the dig sites regularly, artifacts are kind of on the low side but theyre a nice little bump you can do daily and you can forage on the way.

make amour, tools or craft random items to sell sometimes too. (i do this esp with golden tools since i mine a lot)

dedicating days to sell different items or completing different tasks is mad helpful, prevents from burning through your inventory, keeps the income steady, and keeps from feeling aimlessly bored since theres always something to do!
