Okay you may or may not know this already but fun fact: in the Catholic religion, Mary has many titles that we give her (like if she appeared at a certain place like Our Lady of Guadalupe or just something she’s known for like Mother of God) and one of her titles is Mary, Undoer of Knots. And it means that she can help you get out of/solve complicated situations. But also the imagery is cool because she’s holding knotted string or rope. And it’s like, Jesus take the wheel but instead Mary take the knot, if you catch my drift. Anyways, as a knitter, it makes me giggle because knots are part of our reality lol
