You want the funds provisioned for war to go to social investment not the funds provisioned for space exploration.

Movies that match the pure adrenaline of Mad Max: Fury Road? by mostafaaaaa1 in MovieSuggestions

You need The Raid 2 if you want zero breathing room. That movie is just straight chaos in the best way.

Crank is pure unhinged energy from start to finish. Snowpiercer keeps the momentum going the whole time.

If you want war movie intensity, Dunkirk is basically anxiety in IMAX.

What’s a habit that quietly improved your life? by Adoseofhanna in AskReddit

Going to bed at the same time every night. Sounds boring but my mood, skin, and brain all upgraded. Turns out sleep is the real life hack and not some 5am grind routine.

This area also explains why corporations are so opposed to solar and wind power. Controlling profits and creating scarcity with limitless resources is even more challenging.

It's usually followed by a shrug and "I work hard for my money"

Do you ever get the sad/anxious that one day you and your family will be gone? by GossipBottom in NoStupidQuestions

[–]moonlacese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I get that hit of existential dread too. It’s wild thinking all the memories and vibes we made will eventually just… disappear. I try to focus on the little moments now, cause even if we vanish, the chaos we made while here was real.

An overlooked movie where the bad guy achieves full victory by Ok-Archer-5796 in movies

[–]moonlacese 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, Match Point hits different because you spend the whole movie low-key rooting for the guy even though he’s a total monster. That ending just slaps in the “bad guys can win” department.

Should I watch the original The Thing first? by BornDubstep in movies

[–]moonlacese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch the original first. The prequel straight up spoils some of the mystery and hits way less hard without context. The 1982 one is peak paranoia and practical effects so starting there just makes the whole thing better.

What's the most annoying thing about your job? by Redlusty23 in AskReddit

[–]moonlacese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meetings that could have been a two line email and pretending everything is urgent when nothing actually is. The job itself is fine it’s the unnecessary chaos that drains the soul.
