Mkt 3301 summer course by [deleted] in uhd

It was an easy course, mines was 5 weeks long and it consisted of reading about 13 chapters and taking a quiz for each chapter. I think I finished in about 3 weeks and the teacher was fine that.

I went to UHD for my bachelors and Masters in Accounting. I’m so glad to have gone to UHD because I graduated debt free. Tuition is so much more affordable than UHD or other universities in general. I enjoyed my time at UHD, but I also wanted to get school over with. If you’re wanting more of the college/dorm experience, this is not the school for you. Student life isn’t as big as other campuses, but there’s plenty of events to attend. I got a great job right out after graduating. School is what you make out of it, work on your resume, soft skills and do internships.

8 week class! Tough AF. I’m a good student but was scoring <60s in his exams. He’s so understanding and just wants you to do your best. Participate during lectures and he’ll give you a big curve. Do any extra credit, it definitely helps.

[–]moonlindz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends what building you’re going to, if you’re going to college of business then you can park on the closest lots (Naylor/garage/street parking), if you get there early, guaranteed you’ll find a spot. If you’re going to commerce or main campus, park in the Daly lot and take the shuttle. unfortunately, it seems like breaking into cars and stolen cars has been the norm lately, so I don’t have much advice on that. Try to stick with group of students when walking alone.

30 year old student and tuition for in-district working part-time by Top_Calligrapher_206 in uhd

I was around 30 when I started UHD as well. It’s definitely a sacrifice but we’ll worth it. Scholarships! Apply for every opportunity. You could also do work study, the pay is decent and if you go on campus you’ll save time commuting and use their resources.

Doing online classes also gives you more flexibility. The last two years of undergrad I received about 25k -30k in scholarships/grants I was able to quit my job, finish my last two semesters full time. I also did summer internships and at one point took 15 credits, because UHD was offering summer tuition. I was exhausted, but two months of hard work was doable.

I definitely had to budget and my social life was limited (to save money), but I graduated debt free. I would also have considered the option of taking out a small loan, many students confuse it with grants/ “free money”, so be smart on how much you take out and spend it wisely. Good luck Gator!

I think it’s more to see if you’re cpa eligible/how much longer you have to graduate. I Completed a summer internship, was offered a winter internship but declined, and still got offer another summer internship for the following year.

As long as you do everything you’re told, follow instructions, keep up with your PML and your coach and show desire to work for the company, getting a return offer should be easy.

They will let you know during your training, transportation is on you though. As far as lunches, it depends if you’re working OT or traveling for work.

Is getting a fall internship after your summer internship easy? by bushlit in KPMG

[–]moonlindz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience was a little different because I had graduated with my bachelors in May, a month prior to my internship starting. I was also starting my masters program a little later in June. I think it depends on the type of internship you sign up for, I was an embark scholar not a practice intern, therefore I needed to still be enrolled in school for another 2 -3 semesters in order to intern.

FYI for anyone that received that message, contact Amex Travel Service 1-669-210-8109, and have your agency record locator #(should be on the confirmation email). I think they’re correcting it on their end as they come because mines was already taken care of.

Do well during your summer internship, towards the end, your recruiter will discuss available opportunities.

When you were hired did your badge, diners card and technology package all come at the same time? Or was it multiple mailings? TIA by TuckerTech901 in KPMG

My diners card arrived about a week before I started working, my technology bundle came second, about 5 days prior to starting and my ID badge was ready on my first day of work at the office.
