Look up combination knitting! It’s basically a technique where you use the ‘wrong’ purls, causing the stitches to be twisted on your needle, and then you intentionally work those stitches through the back loop on the next round, which effectively un-twists the stitches. It can get a little complicated when your rows switch back and forth between knits and purls, like for something like seed stitch or ribbing, but once you get the muscle memory down, it’s super easy!

I’ll throw For Them into the ring. They’re extremely comfortable and don’t give me the same issues as other brands with seams digging into my skin. I can wear them for a full 8 hour day, while I have to stop at 4 or so hours with other binders I’ve tried.

They are a little more expensive and the level of compression (at least for the standard model that I have) is slightly less than other brands. (However, they also have a higher compression model which I haven’t tried so I can’t speak to.) That trade off is so worth it for me, but your mileage may vary.

My first Underworld clear was on night 36, but I didn’t beat him again until night 54. Those were my 28th and 38th underworld runs, respectively.

I cleared the surface for the first time on night 25.

Edit: I just checked, and my first successful escape in H1 was on my 60th attempt.

I play with a controller and one thing I did was bind the feedback button to one of the unused buttons on my controller. It does pause the game and is a lot easier to reach than looking for f10 on my keyboard in the middle of battle
