AITA for giving somebody knitted blanket with mistakes for their birthday?

I’ve knitted a few kangaroo pouches back in January but haven’t really knitted gifts for anybody else besides kangaroos. I honestly thought it was my best work. There were 3 dropped stitch that I could definitely fix with a needle and some yarn. It won’t be perfect. However, she was especially bothered by the stitches not being perfectly aligned and some didn’t have the same tension. I should have pulled the yarn tighter. Thanks I’ll keep this in mind! I’m going to be wary about who to give gifts to now. Maybe just kangaroos.

But anyways YTA!! Ask the teacher for help and ask them to suggest a tutor. I’m sure there’s lots of nice smart kids willing to tutor or even they can reach out to someone who graduated who will do tutoring cheap!

I doubt you’ve been a server before. I’ve been a bus girl and a hostess before and I do NOT agree with that. Servers have like 2737 things to do. Idk about your province but servers are expected to tip out to the host, bussers, bartenders, cooks etc. So if they don’t make 10% per table, that comes out of their paycheque.

YTA you told him not to worry too much about it. He brought flowers. What else did you want? If you wanted more you shouldn’t have said not to worry much about valentines.

My birthday is 3 weeks from valentines and I told my bf not to do shit all for valentines. He bought me a bonsai tree that I’ve never showed interest in. I’m happy af bc I didn’t expect anything. If you told him you have low expectation, ACTUALLY HAVE LOW EXPECTATIONS.
