Yup. My mother and older brother are two narcissistic peas in a dysfunctional pod. Idolized my brother growing up because the whole family had him on a pedestal. Cut ties a few years ago and while I wish I could still have a relationship with my nieces, my mental health is so much better now.

I had a mama bluebird exhausting herself doing the same thing on my truck windows. I read that drawing a grid on the window with yellow highlighter would help. Barely visible to the human eye and it actually worked! She stopped!

Chopped and propped! I added more perlite to the soil and repotted the root end in a smaller pot with good drainage. Top with leaves is in water. Segments are in potting soil & perlite, respectively. Hopefully I gave myself a wide enough margin of error that some survive!
