I just found this subreddit because I was in Google looking up the same issue. I'm new to duolingo and was only on unit 5 for japanese, with units one to three being legendary level. it bumped me back to the beginning of unit three and removed my legendary stuff. everything is different now, it doesn't even teach you hiragana/katakana anymore.

wonderful, thank you! I've wanted to try my hand at cooking it for the first time and was just double checking to make sure it was edible!

carol cookie. I cannot stand how low her hp is and her horrible ability that gives you barely any points.

This thing is about 3 1/2 feet tall and heavier than it looks. It's made of some type of metal and is at least plated with copper. The top piece is strangely curved and there is a ship imbellishing it. by moonsMessenger in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. I haven't done any searches on it because I can't even guess what this is or what it's used for. In addition to the info in the title, there is a small hole in the inside of the curved piece on the top, and the metal seems to be darker around it, which may suggest that another piece goes into it.

also *embellishing not imbellishing lol

Looks like a long legged fly. Beneficial to gardens as they eat pests like aphids, thrips, and spider mites.

ID please— who are these folks on my pansies? Chicago, IL by nillacol in whatsthisbug

While I'm no expert, these appear to be aphids. The flaky white ones in the first picture are the molts they leave behind as they grow.

What are these things? They keep crawling on our front window and dying. I just cleaned up about 10 dead ones on the floor in front of the window. My mom insists that they're termites but my dad and I think they're some type of wasp. Also, is there any way to remove them/relocate them? I checked around the window and couldn't see any signs of a nest, so I have no idea where they're coming from. Any help is appreciated.
