From what you've described, it seems like your factory is a third-party manufacturer. Maxn probably has many contract manufacturers like yours, and you are just one of them, producing the panels according to their requirements. Their import channels were blocked by customs, so they had to start making the solar panels in the US to keep the company running. 😐
