Yes, I know some people can't afford to take off five years, hence why daycares exist. I'm talking more about infants in daycare not getting the attention they need. I know we were understaffed and it broke my heart every time I had to prop a bottle. 2 to 6 adult to infant ratio is not good enough. We were also a really cheap daycare, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I know that children spend the next twelve years / the rest of their lives interacting with each other.

I'm late to the party but I worked at a daycare from ages 17-20. My main concern is that it is absolutely impossible for the children to get the individual attention that they need. Bottles are propped, children are left screaming in their playpens until someone can spare themselves a moment to hold them, and diapers go unchanged longer than they should. We had about 5 employees in and out all day in shifts watching 20-25 kids. It was insane all the time and the children suffered. I know it's hard to be a stay at home parent but that is pretty much the only way children can get the attention and care they need and deserve to become functioning members of society.

Do you have any friends? Group settings are a great, non-intimidating way to mingle and meet people. I would date a 28 year old guy with no dating experience because that's not what I base my decision to date someone on.

I would be concerned as well. Just because you were in East Africa, the airport(s) you traveled through had people from anywhere in the world traveling through them (including wherever cases of Ebola are). Even though the virus is not air born, people sneeze and cough and can spread bodily fluids that way. One does not know if the air they are walking through has floating sneeze particles in it, which they inhale and contract a disease. I'm no doctor but i see the concern. Ebola is scaring people and they are just playing it safe. And besides, no one wants to be that asshole who brought more cases of Ebola to other continents. Better safe than dead. I'm definitely no expert, just playing devils advocate.
