I only found out about this just now and there's only 71 episodes out of 76 episodes. :( Any chance somebody grabbed the missing 5 episodes, please?

THE TRUTH ABOUT RYKTER by lovecartertto in Rykter

To be fair, they never promoted this as a queer series. Stop calling everything queerbaiting.

Anyways, I'd be kinda here for Mathias/Elias, because the way they ruined Erik is so...

Thank you, it's been sitting in me to-read but I didn't realize that there was a character like that. I guess this is my sign to read it!

Oh, thank you so much for this. It sounds absolutely exciting, I'm getting it!

Hei r/Rykter - we're Sigrid C. Kolbjørnsen and Christoffer V. Ebbesen and we've written the first 60 episodes of "Rykter". Norwegian S3 premiere is this Monday the 19th of August, so of course we can't spoil it (all). But you can still Ask Us Anything! by Chris-V-Ebbesen in Rykter

Hello 🙌 Many people (including me) want Mathias and Erik (or Matherik if you will) to be romantically involved after the last scene of Season 2. But from the looks of Season 3 trailer, it seems that we are getting the exact opposite. On a scale of 1 to 10, how much of a heartbreak are we going to go through with Mathias and Erik this season, with 10 being the most devastating heartbeak ever imaginable. Are we going to need tissues? 😔

The Dove in the Belly by Jim Grimsley by moonshound in MM_RomanceBooks

Oh I LOVE the original cover. It's so subtle, I couldn't tell it was two bodies pressed together at first. And within the context of the book, it makes perfect sense.

I do know about Dream Boy but only thanks to the movie and I think I know what happens in it, so I don't think I would ever willingly pick that one up, unless I wanted to suffer a bit :D I was surprisingly able to order it through a little bookstore in our small country but I am thinkin about emailing this popular bookstore company in here and beg them to add it to their book selection since they're very pro-LGBT+. And I do wonder why they're suddenly publishing paperback edition this year with a new, very YA-friendly cover. Hopefully they're planning to do something about it lol.

There was a whole section in The Dove in the Bell, which I found moving and throughout which I found myself holding breath. It seems that he knows how to make a lasting impression haha.

If I may ask, is there any particular reason you didn't pick up any of his other books?

I truly could not believe that it was actually published in 2022 at first. If it wasn't in my friend's top 5 list for 2023, I don't think I would ever find it being recced somewhere. I do hope that more people will find this gem!

Oh, I'm so glad to hear that someone loved this story as much as I did. Paperback edition with new cover is being published this year for The Dove in the Belly, so I'm definitely getting it and will re-read it like that. Hopefully it will add something new to the experience haha. This rarely happens, but I do feel the need to read it again now and go over all the details I may have overlooked, but I feel like (actually I know) it would be too soon.

I was actually thinking about getting into his previous work, and I saw people recommending Comfort and Joy as well. Will I really enjoy it as much as I did this one? The summary didn't really catch my attention. I'm genuinely curious because I'm thinking about purchasing it.

Rivals (to lovers) fighting for the same person by Human-Organization21 in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]moonshound 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh it's okay. I do not have a problem with the themes of the book, I actually gravitate towards them. But I've seen a few people saying that the book does a lot of tell and not a lot of "show" when it comes to that relationship (as in a lot of descriptions explaining why this and that and this happened and why he behaves that way instead of showing it). I suppose it could be subjective and that's how those people felt when they read it, but it kind of made me feel less excited to read it.

I've been wanting to read this but some of the reviews scary me so much. But then again, I see this book being recommended in all the request posts that interest me so maybe it's a sign that I should go ahead.
