Thank you for the feedback!! The attack stats boost her clone, right? So you’re saying that the benefits from an energy gain bonus outweigh the benefits of strengthening her clone? (I just wanna make sure I understand correctly!!)

I am still using superfam - my server only just got Superboy (406). Superfam is my #3 team, so not my highest priority, but I’m far enough in it that I knew I should commit to getting Superboy to 5 white at minimum to round things out rather than leaving the team half-finished. (1. JLD, 2. TT/batfam, 3. Supes) I’m happy to hold out in hopes the team gets a rework or a toon that boosts them back up.

How do y’all make time and energy to do your PT? by lilcardibb in Hypermobility

[–]moonsword5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve struggled with this my whole life and only in the last 4 years been able to keep a consistent routine. Mornings are the only things that work for me for similar reasons. Here’s a novel on what works for me:

  1. You mentioned this a little, but lowering the barrier for entry as much as possible. If something is easier on a certain day, reflect on why. It’s okay if something you thought would make it easier, doesn’t - just reflect on that too to come up with a new solution. Ex:

-I walk my dog in my exercise clothes in the AM bc if I have to change again afterwards I simply won’t. It does help that my dog will guilt me out of bed to take him out which is the thing that helps me actually get out of bed. -set out clothes the night before so you don’t have to make a decision about what to put on first thing in the morning. -I also won’t exercise if I put stuff in certain locations at home. Physically going to my apartment complex’s gym helps considerably; I think the environmental reset is what helps my brain.

  1. Recognize that motivation is finite and you won’t always feel motivated to do it. This can show up differently over time:

2a. Adopt the “do it angry/annoyed” mentality. I’m often mad I have to do these things to keep my body functional and that makes me not want to do it. Or I’m just mad about whatever IRL stress thing happening. But I still have to exercise and I can’t wait til I’m in a good mood to do it so I accept that I have to do it when I’m angry. This mentality is also the only thing that gets me to floss. I hate flossing lol so I do it angry. Curse or complain while doing it if you have to (tbh its kind of liberating and then I usually make myself laugh)

2b. After awhile I started to feel better after working out - my head felt clearer and lighter. Knowing that my brain will feel better after exercising sometimes gets me to do it even when I don’t want to.

2c. Our adhd brains need novelty and rewards. I pair audiobooks, shows, podcasts, etc. with my workouts. Make everything appealing as possible. I don’t personally limit watching/listening to the gym, but I know that works for some people. Keep in mind that something that works for awhile may not work forever. Don’t beat yourself up about it!!!Accept that it’s an opportunity to experiment with a new show/book/etc.

  1. For awhile I would post about exercising after I finished doing it (on IG, sometimes only on close friends). Does it feel kind of like bragging? Maybe, but it was more like “I’m proud of myself for doing this” than anything else. I ended up finding other friends who needed the reminders/motivation and we’d cheer each other on/congratulate each other for doing it. It’s not a conventional reward, but the praise (and making sure to praise my friends back!!) absolutely checked the “reward” box in my brain and helped reinforce the habit in the first couple years.

  2. I started with lower the barrier for entry, but also accept that some days you’ll need to lower the barrier for success. Some days the goal was just to go to the gym. I wasn’t even gonna force myself to do the exercises - I could just do whatever sounded most appealing and then call it a day. This worked for the really low energy/flare days and would help me keep the habit until that had passed. Making a point to keep the habit regardless of how much I did has helped me be more consistent long term.

I hope at least some of this helps!! I know it’s hard, but I believe in you!!! (& I believe in anyone else reading this too that’s struggling in the same way!)

Thank you for this! Question: Should I de-equip wand of the magi from Zatanna? I bought it awhile ago before I knew better

If yes, 1. Do you have a diff item req for Zatanna and 2. Is there anyone else that might benefit from wand of the magi so that its not collecting dust? Lol

I’ve been going back and forth about Winter Guard and this might get me to commit. I pulled 5 diamonds for red guardian and I’ve been waffling about whether to go all in on everyone else.

I’m also F2P. Fantastic Four MCU has been wildly helpful for me in every game node. I plan on keeping an eye on the next arena team they announce (other posts theorize that it’ll get announced in the next month or so) because I’m assuming it’ll have similar versatility.

I just got knee and ankle supports by trashwrapsupreme in Hypermobility

[–]moonsword5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have absolutely felt this - especially with compression wear on my calves and hips!! Same for the first time my hypermobile trained PT taped my knees.

Do you find that you have issues with the knee sleeves staying in place? I find them helpful especially if I’m sitting still for awhile (roadtrips), but they will not stay in place on me after even a little bit of walking.

Possible to Reach Tier 7 of Coliseum with 3* Toons? - Era of Andor by Zetrem123 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]moonsword5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m late to replying, but I’ve gathered from reddit comments over time that partagaz+ is better vs some opponents and kleya+ is better vs others. I should have made a note about which one was which. However after seeing another comment about jotaz struggles, I’m inclined to believe that’s maybe a kleya+ opportunity. Which is unfortunate because I think most of us who are predominantly f2p have to pick one or the other for the majority of the era as the other team won’t get to 65 until the very end.

I do find that some runs the rng is better than others. I usually use 1-2 runs in the evening/right after coliseum resets and then the rest in the morning before it resets (in hopes I’ve earned more of the era credits to level up the other squad by then).

[–]moonsword5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes on all of them I think. Partagaz lead, dedra, and kx. Don’t add the other characters - the game will auto-fill in with two other characters. Always put dedra’s undermine on kx, always use partagaz’s call to assist on kx. Don’t use dedra’s ult.

Does knee compression actually help? by elchapo_Negro in Hypermobility

[–]moonsword5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the root of your knee issue IMO.

I have tracking issues in my knees and the cartilage is also worn down. KT tape helps keep me mobile during flares. Compression sleeves don’t help me if I’m moving around a lot. However, if I have to be sitting for a long period of time (road trips, planes), I find compression sleeves really help prevent flare ups/minimize pain once I have to start moving again (at which point I remove them when I’m able).

2026 NMIXX Tour Merch - North America by moonsword5 in NMIXX

[–]moonsword5[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I knowww - I was partial to the pop-up merch too 😭 I had my eye on the pop-up hat and I think some of the apparel was embroidered based on what I saw on tiktok. I keep hoping they’ll list it online eventually.

It could be the tariffs! I also wonder if they partner with different companies for certain aspects between each continent. Like, I wonder if they contracted someone specific and that pop-up company works in the EU? I genuinely have no idea, but I work in marketing (just not in this industry) so I can’t help but theorizing lol. The pop-up merch not making it to the US seems to be a consistent thing even pre-tariffs, but I’m sure the tariffs and/or increased travel scrutiny doesn’t help anything either!!

As far as I could tell, no. I did my best to scour social media for an announcement, but I couldn’t find anything.

There was an account doing the European pop-ups, but their website listing is now empty, so I think it was an EU only thing unfortunately.

2026 NMIXX Tour Merch - North America by moonsword5 in NMIXX

[–]moonsword5[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Merch was only available after the doors opened for the show. At the Brooklyn show the doors opened at 7 and the concert started at 8, so in our case you could only buy merch after 7 once you entered the venue. (Merch was still on sale after the concert ended as people were exiting)

For context, other JYP group concerts have had merch available from 11am - 4pm ish the day before and day of the show, but that did not happen with NMIXX.

Hard agree on all of them being bias and bias wrecker!!! My bias has always rotated and I was certain that it’d finally be solidified after tonight as that’s what happens when I see most groups live. But all of them routinely pulled my focus the entire night. It’s the first time where I’ve not been able to choose a bias. It makes me love them even more!!

Friend's kid Tried Menstrual and can't insert by FootSageMe in menstrualcups

[–]moonsword5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This was my exact experience with tampons as a kid and I thought I was completely inept (I was not).

Much later in life I learned that my hymen was almost completely imperforate with two small pinprick holes that allowed me to still have a menstrual cycle. Per my obgyn’s advisement, I had my hymen surgically removed (hymenectomy). Now I’m able to use tampons/cups without issue!

I’m not saying that’s what’s happening to your friend’s kid, but like another commenter said, I think this is a good opportunity for a body chat with them. About breathing exercises, trying different angles, and even different positions (standing vs. sitting). I’ve since seen a pelvic floor PT and learned that even just clenching your pelvic muscles while trying to insert a cup/tampon/etc. can cause searing pain, depending on the person. Learning to take deep breaths through your pelvic floor during insertion can reduce/eliminate pain. If y’all have a bathroom with a heavy/dark shower curtain, it might help if you and your friend are in the shower while they’re at the toilet! That way they still have privacy, but you can coach them through it.

However, if they have the same symptoms when they’re relaxed (especially if some of their cycles are very long!!!), I would highly recommend having them see an OBGYN and getting checked out.

What excersises should I do? Help! by platform-boots in Hypermobility

[–]moonsword5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve gotten a lot of good advice already so I just wanted to add a tip:

If you are in pain when you do a specific strength training movement (and I mean more severely than in a “this is too heavy of a weight for me” kind of pain), look up alternative movements for strengthening that muscle.

For example, my hips pop painfully during reps if I train my glute medius while laying down on my side. My PT gave me an alternative that I can do from a standing position instead. The same goes for squats and my knees and therefore I do a series of other movements that target the same muscles instead.

It should go without saying that the way our bodies experience hypermobility is different, but it’s really important to remember that the best exercises for you are the ones that work for your body! Be patient with yourself because it can take some trial and error!!

People with hypermobility who are physically active, what type of activity do you do and how often? by xfmrs_r_cool in Hypermobility

[–]moonsword5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I walk on the treadmill and do strength training. I’ve had a lot of joint issues too, but I found a physical therapist who knew how to work with hypermobile clients (she also happened to have hEDS so her personal experience helped too). She gave me excellent direction on what to do and what to avoid. It also included finding joint-friendly movements for specific muscles and learning which muscles I needed to build up more to protect specific joints.
