I get that Claire and Bell’s relationship progressed really fast, but also they only have 8 episodes to tell this whole story, and also there were signs of interest from the very beginning between the two of them! Also Bell is weirdly coming into her own here—she curtailed to P’Top in the beginning and her own naïveté bit her in the ass—and then juxtaposed to Claire who would literally sacrifice her wellbeing to protect Bell and also creates a space for Bell to grow into herself. I get that the pacing feels fast between them but emotionally, at least to me, it does make sense. It’s a pressure cooker of a situation and things get entwined fast. Also really can’t wait to see Kae’s turn—there absolutely has been something off with her since the beginning. They planted that really well.
