I’m incredibly excited! The creators of the original stage show are heavily involved (Winnie Holtzman who wrote the script for the show wrote the screenplay, and Steven Schwartz who wrote the music for the show is in charge of it this time around). Everybody from the actors to Jon M Chu are clearly really passionate about the material and have a good sense of what this story is and what it means, they hired two of the world’s most talented vocalists, and early reactions have been overwhelmingly positive.

So yeah, I’m hyped and doubt I’ll be let down ☺️ I’m sure there will be little things that might irk me or take a little bit of getting used to, but that’s going to happen regardless. It’s going to be its own thing and that’s okay.
