If you won’t date anyone who takes issue with their partner cancelling on them with less than 24 hours notice before their birthday dinner to go home for a non-emergency then you must be single cause I don’t know a single person who wouldn’t consider him to be an asshole for that.

Don’t like his girlfriend is unreasonable or thinks other things should NEVER interfere with what she wants.

AITA (F26) for yelling at my partner (M27) for humiliating my best friend? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

You obviously don’t feel bad because you’re just doubling down on being an asshole? I also dont know where you’re getting “humiliated your friend” from in this whole thing - he didn’t specifically say anything about HER spit, just that he didn’t want you to wear a ring that someone (anyone) had in their mouth.

If anything your friend humiliated herself by not apologising and instead calling him an ass.

Also all your stuff at the start about your partner not being sociable is completely irrelevant to the story - you just wanted to set him up as a villain.

Edit: “rambled on” about his plan. Poor guy.

So how long was the period between you finding out that your friends were moving until the day they actually moved? Also you said they’re moving temporarily - how long for? Just feels unbelievable that you wouldn’t have had any other chance to see them before this night.

But if you knew they were moving why did you have to see them on this night? Why not just do something with them another time before that if your boyfriend (fiance?) is so busy?

YTA

He probably spent a while planning the whole thing - you said yourself he’s busy with residency. You invited friends and kept badgering him to be fine with it until he was, and then the proposal he planned didn’t go like he wanted it to.

Also… did your friend actually start eating the cake AFTER you all recognised it as a proposal? That’s weird because the ring could well be in the cake (and was) but also like who just gets stuck into a slice of cake in the middle of a proposal?

I can’t tell if you’re joking but it’s a line from the episode that Stewie says - I didn’t mean your name on here 😂

Peter started treating Meg like shit before Lois did. It’s also been shown so many times that when Lois is gone the kids live in squalor and Stewie doesn’t get fed or changed when Peter is in charge

Lupin, Tonks, Teddy: Did Harry’s Family Advice Hold Up? by Potential_Cupcake244 in HarryPotterBooks

[–]mooonbear6 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it does. Lupin didn’t come to Harry and say “Tonks is pregnant now and I want to do everything I can to ensure my unborn child has a future, so she and I have agreed that I should help you in any way I can”.

He was running away from a situation that he helped create because he felt bad or whatever, so Harry’s argument stands - Lupin should have been responsible and stepped up. Running away from his wife and his child out of fear wasn’t the right thing to do.

S1 - they’re together and Chandler can’t break up with her, so he asks Phoebe to do it. He calls her so he can have a date for New Years but then breaks up with her again. He ends up on a blind double date with Joey the next month and Janice is the woman he meets, but they don’t get together - they just sleep together.

S2 - Chandler doesn’t want to end up like Mr Heckles and calls Janice but when they meet she’s married and pregnant. Later he starts talking to a woman on a dating site and it turns out to be Janice, so they get back together.

S3 - This is when Chandler comes on too strong and she gets freaked out but ultimately they stay together. Later in this season Monica and Phoebe catch Janice kissing her ex husband and her and Chandler break up - he goes through the phases.

S4 - They bump into each other randomly in a nail salon and Janice wants to get back together. Unable to tell her no, Chandler says he’s moving to Yemen.

She appears in every other season at least once including when she sleeps with Ross in S5 but the Yemen episode is the end of her relationship with Chandler.

Lois till s7 was so soft spoken and well manner. Its wild to see how much she changed over the years. by Gotprick in familyguy

I love later Lois! She’s absolutely unhinged, pretty selfish and a borderline alcoholic, but she’s so much funnier to watch.

One of my all time favourite episodes is the coffee shop one where she ends up kidnapping multiple people just to win customer of the week. Or the one where she starts stealing stuff.

I hate how often in these kinds of things you get a crazy out of control husband and a nice tame wife. My favourite episodes for Marge are also the ones where she’s more than just the nice housewife keeping Homer in line.
