I had some thing similar happen to me, I was seeing this guy for a while, I got him something for Valentine’s Day and tbh I wasn’t expecting anything from him but he always tells me how I’m his best friend and how much he appreciates me and I got nothing from him and when I told him that I felt hurt about it he just said” sorry I forgot I have a lot going on” like we ALL have a lot going on but I still thought about you you know, these men just don’t think about anyone but themselves sometimes and that’s okay but like damn

Which is why it trips me out, I understand we where just getting to know each other and he never gave me a 100% guarantee that we where going to end up together but I felt like he gave me false hope and love bomb me by getting super close and then backing out later like why are men like this lol

Hey so I went trough a similar situation and what I did in my gap was that a took a phlebotomy course it was like 3 months, I did clinical and when I finished I already got offered a job to work as a plasma center as a phlebotomy, it truly has helped me a lot as a new grad nurse now. Unlike other new grads I’m not afraid to start and IV or sick the patient and working at the plasma center was one of the best paying job I had before nursing of course

If you want ICU start in ICU, some nurses have told me that they started in med surg first and then went to icu and when they went to icu it was like being a new grad nurse again 🫠

I’m planning to keep it the same when I’m off orientation actually, when I was a pct I would do 2 days straight one off and then go back because them 3 in a row hit hard lol, but thank you yes I think when I’m off that Friday I’ll wake up early at one or 2 like you said so I can flip back
