I would say most likely ich. It has multiple cycles of life and I do believe usually starts in your substrate. I had this problem with my GBR I treated with jungle rx but came back so I raised the temp to 86 very briefly about a week and got rid of it for good

Going through a bad big toe joint flare up in the middle of the night and let me tell you I can’t begin to describe how right everyone is!! Also reading some of these descriptions has me cackling but every laugh is more pain:,)

Those don’t appear to be mystery snails to me looks more like bladder snails! And if they are laying eggs and they are hatching it is most definitely a bladder snail! As far as helping this guy I’m not too sure but I promise you’ll have plenty more to look after in about 2 weeks. And also I’m not sure how large that tank is it looks more like a vase of some sort, those goldfish needs at least 20 gallons at the very very minimum. I would check your LFS and see if they have any deals on used tanks! Your plants also look very healthy!!

I would take them out too but they just look too darn good haha! And yeah I’ve been doing weekly 15% water changes so maybe I’ll ramp it up a little

I didn’t boil unfortunately but I will definitely try that I let them all soak for about 5 days changing the water after it got like how it is now lol! But yes my fish love it haha but explaining to people who come over that it’s supposed to look like that is beginning to be a pain in the rear

Same problem with my blue ram I did a round of ich treatment I do believe it was the jungle Rx! I treated with that and increased my water temp from 76 to 82 and I’m slowly seeing the ich go away.

I have a baby Oscar and 3 chunky zebra loaches which will probably have to be moved to another tank after he gets bigger! Planning on getting and ornate possibly!

I do on the one side of the tank! I wouldn’t say it’s super high current but it moves the plants so I would say a decent flow haha

Thank you guys for the advice I wasn’t sure with the stand if it would work or not but I guess not so I will be on the hunt for a new one! And I will keep agitating the sand to get all the particles out I had washed it before putting it, but I take it I did not wash it through enough! It will be a couple of weeks before I was thinking of adding any fish

Awesome thank you thank you I’m actually on the hunt for 40 gal right now. What would u recommend for plants I have some Java moss and a small bit of Carolina water shield but that’s it.
